Woo Hoo, good job i had 10mtrs of both coils though, cos there was a fair bit of wastage till i got it to work, made one worked and gave me 1.5 ohms, but when i filled it up and screwed the top down it must have been causing a short, so start again doh, eventually got their though, used a double wick, 2mm i think, what ever it is that comes with the provari, and .16mm nickel chrome for the resistance and .20mm for the lesser resistance wire, courtesy of macca's links. It works on both the provari and lava tube, but have to have the provari down to 3volts otherwise it's burnt, on the lt it can go up to 3.6-8 ish, guess that's the differance in quality between the two devices Chuffed to bit's though even though it took me about an hour to get one working coil, ah well onwards and upwards. Ps the heat shield in the head fell to bits when i tried to get the new coil to fit back in, obviously causing a problem with the shorting out, and while i think of it, on the nova you don't have a lot of room for the coils so either they have to be quite close together or less of them. And here's a piccy to prove it works, cheers, Andy Master coil maker, lol

Well done mate! I made 3 today and was trying different combos. I got some cotton wick too. Can't say I've noticed a great deal of difference. I enjoy it though

Well done, it's a bit fiddly with the limited space on the Vivi head.
The Lavatube will automatically adjust the settings down for you. So even if you set it to 6.0, it will probably only be doing 3. something. The Provari just gives an error instead.

There'll be no stopping you now Blue . . . well done. Ever so satisfying isn't it and so handy to have a Provari to check the ohms.

Iv re coiled a few myself, i just binned the heatsheald tbh, not a lot of room to get too many turns in, think the most iv managed is around 5 without the coil touching the sides (oo er) Found it to be a marked improvement compared to out of the box IMO

On a LT or a Provari I do my coils at about 2.4 ohms this gives me a larger vaping range than 1.5 ohms, but well done to you Blue. If I was using a non VV battery i'd do them at about 1.5 to 2 ohms.
