I have the Vision 1000 kit with its 2 Ego-C upgrade batteries. We often go away on prolonged camping trips with our folding camper and now that I am vaping all the time, I feel a bit uneasy about being away from home with just two batteries. So, if I do get a third battery, do I go for a standard one the same as what I have or do I get a pass-through and do these last the same on battery only if I am not connected to a USB Port? What do you recommend?

You can't have enough spare batteries I was up your neck of the woods (North Ledaig) a couple of weeks ago in the caravan. 4 x LT batteries and 2 x trusty Riva's. Just as well because 2 of the LT batts died when I was away Do you use EHU? If not, the car chargers are very handy, but you still can't have enough spares for camping

Thanks for the replies, but recharging the batteries is not a problem. What I am worried about is if one of my batteries failed, then I would only be left with one to cover a 24 hour period. The third battery idea is just to have a spare. These days health and age restrict me to glamping rather than camping and we are on EHU sites only and we have both mains and 12v sockets on board the FC. I just feel that if I am going to invest in a back up battery, perhaps I should be looking at a better battery system, if there is one.

i'd probably go with the passthrough as the pasthrough acts like a charger. Although you couldn't use the passthrough charger on your other bats and vice versa I would still sleep easier knowing that I had an alteernative charging plan as well as an alternative battery

Hi Bigbawmcgraw, yup, that would give me a better control over power/time as well as a spare and I will look into that one. However Karma has a good point there in that her system gives me an alternative charging system along with the spare battery. Keep em coming. The Shekels are jingling in me sporran.

At the moment, I have a 2 way USB 12v cigar plug. the folding camper has its own 120Ah battery and so I could vape on one USB outlet with a pass through, while charging another battery at the same time.
Can anyone tell me does the pass through battery, once fully charged, have the same capacity as a standrd 1100 battery?

if it states that it's a 1100 mAh bat, then it should have that capacity once charged. I think mine are 900 mAh and last a fair few hours between charges!
