I've got the Riva from Vapeescape and it is great, the battery lasts for ages and having a rollup hasn't crossed my mind since I got it. Pam

Some good advice given already so I`ll keep quiet..apart from the linked riva kit is a great starting out kit, much better than the cigalikes.

Hi all, newbie here but not totally new to this. I bought a DSE901 three years ago, used it for a while then gave up. I didn't go back to cigs, but have done on and off until recent moths when I've been back being a regular. Decided yesterday enough is enough and found my old DSE901, but ant find the charger. Was going to just invest in a new charger but reading stuff on here it seems things have come on a lot since then so I think I'm better off buying a new starter kit. Looks like I should go for a Riva, and Azzie says the linked one is good, but can't see a link to a Riva above? Vapescape has a deluxe Riva starter kit, www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Deluxe+Vaping+Kits+%3E+Riva+1100+Kit is that a good option? Also the DSE901 came with disposable tips that didn't need liquid adding, does this? I still have some menthol liquid left over but imagine it'll be best to chuck that out after three years and get a fresh bottle if I need some straight away? Thanks in advance, any help appreciated.

Wow Toby we seem to have identical stories and timings. Even down the the menthol leftover liquid. I think that is the kit that vape escape made up for new starters and it has a bit of everything so can try different things. It's a good place to start...........and yes it would be a good idea to get some liquid at the same time. You may get a few more replies if you start your own thread. Welcome to the forum

Hi Toby and #welcome2#
The link you posted is for the riva kit that many people have bought and really liked. Code 'allabout' will get you 10% discount.
The kit contains every thing you will need apart from liquid. Not sure where you've been storing your menthol but shelve life seems to be around 2 years unless frozen. I doubt it would do you any harm but the nicotine content and flavour may have diminished a bit!

Welcome Toby! Like you, my first flirtation with vaping stuttered, because of the unreliability a few years back of 901 atomisers, as you say things have progressed significantly since then, for the better. The Vapescape kit you've linked to, is a great kit to get going with after your DSE901 . . . you will need some juice to fill the cartomiser's and clearomiser that comes with this kit. After 3 years, I'd be inclined to start afresh with ejuice . . . don't forget to use discount code allabout for a 10% discount.

Hello & welcome Tobylerone Yes things really have moved on in the last 3 years That Riva kit is a very good option. The cartomisers & Vision ego that come with it do need filling straight away with e-liquid. The e-liquid you have will still be usable but the nicotine content may have diminished a tad.

Just seen Malibu's post on the previous page - it was most likely my fault Malibu started off with a DSE901, but my excuse for recommending it 3 years ago is because it was about the best e-cig available back then Just so glad you came back ((((Malibu)))
