I've just had a look around on the other GG sites Esme, nothing to be had there either. Wonder if a jeweller's/watchmaker would have something more in the way of what you need? Its worth a try perpy......... will have a look tomorrow and see, too tired tonight hopefully by then I may have had a response from Cam or Imeo There's gotta be some way to get you sorted Esme, can't have a defunct Penelope just because of a little nut I am sure that the fates are conspiring against me

Ellen I've emailed Cam......... no reply yet Waiting to see if Imeo can help I've been to B & Q, Homebase, Robert Dyas, and a place called Bunces, not only have the staff in each been gormless lol but the nuts there are way too big Most of the wick and wire is held in place when you screw it into the base. Can't you use a couple of o-rings instead of the metal ring, just to make a seal when the juice control is fully closed. The Penny Ceramic holder means that you do not need to secure the negative wire with the metal ring like on the V1 Ody. Not ideal, but it might get you by until you find a replacement metal one.

Esme, There has to be something similar from electrical type places. It's only the thread and nut size. That slit wouldn't be completely necessary. I'll have a look and see what I can find tomorrow as I'm trying to build my spares also.

Steve .......... its the little nut inside the ceramic that I lost........ its not tightening up so everything is loose, dont think an o ring would hold it ???

The little nut should be easier to replace.

How about starting a SOS thread on the ECF GG forum Esme . . . that'll get Imeo's attention, if he's bogged down with PM's.

Wow, what a wonderfully designed site, with products in stock!! And products that aren't in stock clearly labelled, not just a "sorry product doesn't exist" page. Why would Imeo have such a contrast of sellers? And if we are allowed to buy from COV USA if Cam is out of stock then great! And if not, my fella lives in America, think I will be getting him to buy me a few things from there to bring over on his next trip
