A heart-stopping drama played out on a Toronto-area highway when a mother duck and her flock of baby ducklings tried to scoot across four lanes of traffic, Wednesday morning. Lol we get them at the college every so often,I think they remember when we had ponds,they stay for around a week and everyone has to walk around them,I have seen then being shepherded across the road in Hampstead with all the traffic waiting for them to cross,quite amazing creatures that always make me smile.

A dog ran out in front of me and i slammed my brakes on hotly followed by a load of screeching.........the cars behind me HAD to do the same. My dad was in the car with me at the time and he was an ex policeman so you can imagine he went into orbit virtually frothing at the mouth at what i had done  All i was concerned about was the dog................which was fine. |
