Wait and see what you get in your parcel Ian, you might find summat that fits. That's great, cos I can't find a UK stockist and ECF didn't reveal anything useful except this: I have a ton of unused and used 4081 Cartomizers... Anyway, if you pull out the tip like you are going to refill with a syringe (basically use a thumbtack and remove the tip, o-ring, gauze and the bottom o-ring), leave the wadding and tube in the cartomizer alone. The drip tip Ken supplied me (which is 510) fits perfect. Now all I have to do is drip to refill and it works GREAT! But not what we're looking for scylla

Thanks Scylla, for checking for me.Fancy stocking an atty that cant take a drip tip???Ive tried to make my own a few times now,but have not had any joy to date.I tried to tail pipe it and quickly learned not to do it again.NOW THEN thats a good point,is it the BE112 atty that is supposed to be good for doing this???Have heard they run alot cooler and vape is cooler.I would try this on BE112LR.Has anyone ever used this type of atty before??Is it recommended to tail pipe??Bet you get a MEGA hit??

The drip-tip is a newcomer to vaping paraphernalia, Ian - so it's a case of no-one bothering to make one to fit the good old 4081 because it no longer sells in such masses as other models. That's what I think, anyway scylla

TY scylla.Seems to have decent ratings for lasting a while this atty? But i wanted to try it on GD passthrough or MAYBE 6V.It says on LF that it is perfect for 6v usage.??I really dont know that much about higher than 3.7v to be honest. All i do know is that i have not yet had a perfect 5 or 6v vape.

I must add that its carts are so very stupid and do not work well.I tried the stupid long thing with the little cart inside and thought, rite i need a drip tip for this one. Also i put it on little Gem at 6v and melted the stupid thing. What a thick head.Should you not use any carts at 6v then?only drip?

I've used carts on the Silver Bullet & Little Gem at 6v Ian, haven't had any melting problems . . . . possibly if you weren't using a HV atty it was getting too hot?
There's a couple of 510HV's in your parcel to try don't forget.

Oh yes, guess what?i had forgot not like me.lol .So perpy,do you think that these 4081 attys are best just at 3.7v then?Im quite peed off if thats the case coz it is claimed in reviews on LF that this is the dream atty at 6v,thats why i got it.Personally i think its like a weak 901 at 3.7v,unless i have another crappy rubbish one.VERY disappointed at 3.7v.I will give it another whirl on the passthrough, hopefully tomorrow.

I didn't get on very well with 4081 attys I'm afraid Ian, having very little grip in my hands I couldn't cope with the refilling, so sold them on to another member who was sucessful with them.

Ian, my very first e-cig over 2 years ago was a super-mini RN4081 & the atties lasted for months. So I also decided to give them a try again recently on my GD PT - not really impressed though Especially due to as you say the pathetic carts & not being able to find a drip tip that fits.

Good point chrissie.I will try it with my new drip tips from Perpy the LEGEND.Then if it still is crap then it will just sit as an emergency only atty.Perpy you really are so very kind as my vapeing has been much tastier with a LR901.Im gonna charge my batteries up for a 6v vape on little Gem with one of these HV attys now,Will let you know how i fair up.

You're more than welcome Ian , I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts on 6v vaping. They're nice atties aren't they those LR901's, smoother on the draw than a 510 I find anyway.
