Button takes a good push to fire, you'd have to sit on it to activate it by accident.

I don't know much about the penelope but I got the impression the draw control was in some way internal to the unit itself. Is that not the case? Does it depend on the gap between the penny and the pv?

Rob puts the 510 - 510 shorty's on to protect the 510 connector, its up to you if you use it or remove it, if you do remove it you can control the draw by reducing the gap between the top of the mod and your atty or tank.

Or you can jiggy with it as I intend to (got another one coming now, cheers Rob) and make a little spacer with an airhole drilled in it to set the draw as you like it.

The centre pin can be screwed in or out to adjust the height the penny sits off the mod. The further up the centre pin is screwed the smaller the gap between penny and mod and therefore the tighter the draw

Thanks for the nice welcome and glad to have found you all.

The throathit vv mod uses two AW brand IMR 1600mAh cells and they are housed inside the mod. The mod charges in the same way as a phone or similar portable device. The cells should last about 18 months of heavy daily usage.

You will then start to notice the run time is reduced little by little. I strongly suggest that the mod is returned for the cell change for two reasons. First off it's my baby and I know how to re stuff the pack secondly your mod gets the once over.

I charge twenty pounds for changing the cells which is the cost of the cells only. I ask that you provide a prepaid return enevelope or 7 pounds at this time to cover return post. I only send mods using special delivery as it is fast, tracked and insured.

On a side note the stubby 510 connector on top of the mod is provided for good reason and will save costly bills. Should you drop your mod the 510 connector will be trash without it and you will be left with little option but to have the unit repaired.

The first mods were supplied without the stubby but it soon became apparent that it would be a simple solution to problem of thread wear and I call it the zola bud mod. Pam zola sent the mod back for a new connector and after a couple of mins thats what I came up with.

The mod is supplied ready to rock and is charged before dispatch to test the charger. The mains charger is a wall wort/ mobile phone style with eu "two round pins" plug. The mod has no provision for usb charging as suggested.

Yeah, you and me in the same boat though. But I'm driving to south of france in a couple of weeks so I'll probably use it in the car and get it before my holiday. Have you tried one? It fits well in the hand believe it or not. And rivers vaped bloody well.
