There is definitely something amiss Lobey. The charging cable, that has the ego fitting on one end and a usb plug on the other - what are you plugging the usb end into when you use the mains?

It is the mains/usb plug that came with my Skycig. Input of 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.15A and an Output of DC 5V 0.5A

Thats the same as my wall plug, and my ego`s all charge within 3 hours, even when they run flat and turn themselves off. Ive got 2 x 1100 mah and 2 x 900 mah batteries
Also got 2 x 18650, 2 x 18490 and 2 x 18350 all AW, and none take more than 3 hours to fully charge with the TR 0001 charger. Got an xtar wp2 coming and charging times for mod batteries will improve further, i hope, but if not, at least i`ll have a safer charger.
Maybe drop Jason an email, point him to this thread, so he can see what your problem is, and save you writing it all again. Then he can try and find a remedy.

It sounds like either:
1. A faulty charger (but if you've tried more than one - unlikely) 2. The connections on the battery and/or charger are not clean enough
We charge them all day long and 4 hours (give or take a small %) is about right
If you want to send me one of the chargers we can test the output here Lobey

Thanks Brian. I used my new Twist VV yesterday evening for about 4 hours. I then put it on charge, about 2am. It was still charging at 12 noon today and has now gone green at 12.30pm. 10+ hours charge time after just 4 hours use. Pretty pathetic!!!!

If Jason is right about it being a dirty connection. Use vodka to clean the centre pin on batteries and charger.
Just a little on a tissue or cotton bud

Just a little on a tissue or cotton bud It would appear that to be a "true vapourer" one needs a bottle of Vodka or two for just about everything. And there in lies a problem for us Tea Totallers!!!! I will clean them with an alcohol wipe.

Does seem weird Des.
Cant see that all the batteries are dirty, unless some has gotten onto the charger and transfered across.
But if its the charger at fault, i cant see it working at all, not taking 10-12 hours as it seems to.
I had one a few months back where the centre pin on the charger had collapsed, sent an email to jason and he said it was where i had screwed the riva on too tight and damaged it.
Never mind, i thought, i`ll order another "tomorrow", well bugger me, one popped through the letterbox next day compliments of vapeescape.
He`s a good chap!

I may (???) have part way solved the problem!
Double checking the chargers, although they look the same and both came from VE, I see that one is an eGo with an output of DC 4.2V 420mA, but the other is a Desan DC 5V 200mA.
I charged the Twist VV last night on the Desan and perhaps that is why it took such a long time. I will use the eGo (420mA) one tonight and see how that does.
