I am keeping a close watch on how much I use the Twist VV today and will put it back on charge at around 6pm this evening to see how long it takes to fully charge. I'll let you know that result. In the meantime, I am having a great vape with the Twist. Certainly no complaints about its performance!

Does seem weird Des. Cant see that all the batteries are dirty, unless some has gotten onto the charger and transfered across. But if its the charger at fault, i cant see it working at all, not taking 10-12 hours as it seems to. I had one a few months back where the centre pin on the charger had collapsed, sent an email to jason and he said it was where i had screwed the riva on too tight and damaged it. Never mind, i thought, i`ll order another "tomorrow", well bugger me, one popped through the letterbox next day compliments of vapeescape. He`s a good chap! Yeah, he's a good chap, he even bought me a Beer at Vapefest

My most sincere apologies to Jason at Vape Escape!!!
I did not get the 200mA charger from him but from a different company altogether.
So sorry Jason.

Glad thats sorted then.
Let us know how you get on after charging with the correct charger though.
Doubt you would have done any damage to the battery though, as it would have simply trickle charged before i suspect

Yes I will indeed.
The printing on the back of these chargers is so small that I need a magnifying glass to read them.
I notice on the website of the firm I bought the 200mA one, that no mention is made of the output. I just assumed that all USB chargers were the same. I'll be a darned sight more careful in the future but I wonder how many others have been caught out like this?

It'll not have done any harm lobey. You could have problems though if you did it the other way round. As far as I understand it the output in mAhs should be less than the mAh capacity of the battery being charged Obviously though as you found out if the mAh output is dramatically smaller than the battery's it will take forever to charge!

Current is like flow if you think of electricity like water soo 200 mA is less than half flow of 420 mA. Think of your battery like a tank a trickle will take loger to fill it. It will eventually but take longer. Using the same analogy voltage is like pressure.

Although I have not yet tried to charge the Twist VV, I have, this afternoon, being charging the two eGo-C upgrade batteries, that were recently charged with the 200mA charger, both of which seemed to run out within 3 or 4 hours of switching on, even although, they had eventually shown a green light on saying that they were fully charged. This suggests to me that although the 200mA charger said they were "fully charged", they were in fact only half charged. I do understand about flow, etc, but both of these batteries should have lasted a lot longer than they did.
Both have charged up very quickly using the 420mA charger and I will use them tomorrow when I expect them to hopefully return to their normal battery life duration.
Looks like it will be midnight before I put the Twist on charge, so it will be tomorrow before I report back in its charge.

The CHARGER was the thing that showed they were charged but as it was not the charger designed for the Twist battery the threshold for the light to turn green was lower, so it turned green BEFORE the battery was fully charged.

That's what it looks like DiscoDes.
If I had taken it off the Desan charger and put it straight onto the Joytech, I bet it would have turned back to Red.
Oh well, we live and learn. Hopefully others reading this will check their chargers to make sure theirs are all 420mA's.

Thanks for that.
I'll take that onboard.
I have now recharged all my batteries, including the Twist and all charged super quick, so it was deffinitely the Desan Charger that was causing me all my troubles.
I have now ordered a second usb charger from Jason, more from the point of view of having a spare, but handy if I have been out all day and want to recharge several batteries at once.
Thanks everyone who offered their words of advice.
