i did find my tornado a little harder to suck with the cone on jAMES I have discovered that if the cone is only screwed on half way, the Tornado works ok. Think I may have to purchase my Riva batts tho'. Will wait till next eastmall order.

Stranger and stranger Hissie as my Tornado's are the opposite and I have to keep the cone on as its too airy a draw with it off. ???

Tis very odd Kenny. One of the reasons I started this thread, was interested in hearing about bizarre e-cig experiences

Ive had my Tornado 2 days now and must agree Hissie.I wouldnt say mine doesnt work with the cone on BUT it works a million times better and gives a stronger, fuller vape without it.I cant understand why?but i think im either gonna just leave it off or drill a vent hole through it to see if that makes any difference. The two regular batterys struggle with cone on, yet the mega battery is fine and good with it on. I certainly have not had an issue with my Riva and the cone, much prefer the Rivas batterys though.Seem to give a stronger vape which i cant understand coz thought Riva/Ego/Tornado were all more or less the same product.??????

Anyone else finding that now & again no matter how many time you fill the cart, it dosen't take long before the foam seems dried out & that horrid burnt throat happens?
Been happening to me quite a lot lately, actually getting tired of filling carts up, enjoying a few vapes then dry cart experience.

Are you using blue foam or another stuffing? I find it doesn't happen when I'm using BF. My most recent cartos have been bad though. scylla

I use James' blue foam scylla. Not using cartos, just regular cartridges & normal 510 atties.

Well, I'm using it in a normal cart on a standard 901 atty on a GD-PT. The vape drops off and I top it up, no burniness. Go figure ???

Yes Hissie. That is exactly what is happening to me.Ive got the foam working well now, thanks to some refilling advice from Scylla. But i do find that after 6-10 decent hits, the foam needs more juice added. In saying that,i do tend to take long, deep inhales so i reckon thats my downfall with it all.Bring on the fog,i think i need it coz im really starting to hate carts. In saying that im only having this issue with LR atties. With a standard 510 i can fill a cart with the foam and it seems to last ages, but the vape is to weak now ive become accustomed to LR attys/cartos.

Yes, Ian, I've always suspected it was the power of your puff that outclassed the rest of us scylla x

That was an ace tip though Scylla regarding the foam. Now i just push it down into the cart, add between 5 and 7 drops and then pull it back up again.Ive never had the foam working this well before. Its even lasting long with an LR atty now that ive stopped drawing so hard. That is the best way of using this foam for me and i am EXTREMELY grateful to Scylla for putting me rite.I can now appreciate why it is rated so highly.Im really glad i have you guys for advice,i am learning alot lately, thanks everyone.

I take long deep inhales too & usually I don't have this problem. Have resorted to direct dripping now for the time being.
Might renew all the foam & see if that makes any difference.
