My wire didnt arrive in the post today so Im a little stuck. I was wondering if this wire is any good for penelope? www.maplin.co.uk/28swg-resistance-wire-2196Also, any idea of actual shops that may sell non resistance? Its a long wait till Monday! Cheers in advance! |

Unfortunately that Maplin stuff is no good for your Penelope. It has a resistance of 4.2 ohms per meter, you need something closer to 50

yeah back to my visions! Ive still got some life left on the premade wire that came with her so not all bad! Just wanted to play around with penlope this weekend, you know what its like getting a new toy!

Cheers for the offer Global, If I was a little nearer id travel on down but got a few things to do this arvo!
Im an impatient git so im chomping at the bit to play around with different Ohms to see what I like best on penelope!
The visions are ok, that is until you use one of more expensive mods!

lol, dont let her scare you! She is actually very easy to set up! Just be gentle with the premade wire as they can snap! Once coiled, she goes together nicely. I was probably lucky to get her right on my first attempt, the hard part was gettting rid of the really airy draw on the Ego! Once resolved, she vapes like a train, and the flavour is intense!

Unfortunately that Maplin stuff is no good for your Penelope. It has a resistance of 4.2 ohms per meter, you need something closer to 50 5cm of that wire will rate at .21ohms so it can be used to tide you over till you can get some proper wire. Wouldn't recommend for long term use though. |

Which wire do you recommend from wires.co.uk for the resistance? Im looking to get around 2 to 2.4 ohms. The silver im getting is the 0.2mm and ive also ordered the 0.150mm Kanthal A and also the 0.17 nick chrome.
