Had an amusing incident today when I started Jury Service.
Wopped my ego with vision v3 out at the security, I keep it in a black draw string pen holder when im out. The security guard stepped back when I put it in the tub and then pointed asking what it was, he genuinly looked worried.
I told him it was for vaping and then used the ecig term which he understood and asked if it was new as he had never seen one before, so I chuffed a few big clouds of vanilla custard at him to prove it was harmless
Pat down proceeded and he asked if I did martial arts as he thought it was a Kosh or other beating stick and he had been concerned what my intentions were!
I havent tried to vape it in the building yet (ok maybe a slight go in the mens rooms!) so will see what they say tomorrow.

I've said before, you put some of them wooden mods through an xray machine and I'm pretty sure some security guards will poop there pants.

You're braver than me. I was sh**tt*ng myself last year when I was on jury service. No way would I have tried to do that. On the other hand, I suppose you wouldn't have been in so much trouble as those in the dock. As an aside, without details obviously, how do you feel about judging other people, I felt very uncomfortable.

I was quite surprised at his reactions! You could tell he wasnt sure!
Re the Jury service, it wasnt really till I got there that the nerves set in. They soon went into overdrive when I was picked to do a long case which is going to last 3 weeks. Not a lot happened today, didnt even get into the court room.
As its a long case, it means its probably going to be quite complicated and intricate, I dont really like the fact that its partly my decision in possibly banging someone up for what could be a long time.
So, yep nerves are a little wobbly to say the least.

As mainstream as E-cigs seem to be now, there is no reason why people who work on court or airport type security shouldn't know what they are IMO

Now imagine a wooden mod. Made by hand. Even If they knew what one was, and they didn't poop there pants. I would suggest Its because they didnt see it.

I know a few people who have been really messed up by jury service (rapes and murders and such horrors).... luckily for me I led a life of crime so jury service should not be something I have to concern myself with personally

I did Jury service a few years ago, the first case I had to sit on I new one of the defendants so had to leave that one. Unknown to me the chap I was outside chatting to for half an hour was the defendant in the next case I sat on, so once again I had to stand up in front of everyone and explain that I had just been chatting to him, I had to leave that case as well. In the 2 weeks I did jury service I actually only sat on 1 case which was a minor robbery.

I never realised that when you get called for jury duty it can be for a number of cases. I always presumed it was for one case and if you were unsuitable that was you off the hook and end of.
Would like to be called up one day, very curious.

And I worried enough taking my Riva into a club as the bouncer may not know what it was. As it turned out they didn't bother searching me, must be my innocent face.

I was booked for Jury service for 2 weeks, so had to turn up everyday and hang around till about 11 to find out if you were going to be picked or not. Its not as interesting as it sounds the case I sat on was really boring, and the defence lawyer chap was crap, I think I could of done a better job than he did, I would not want to be his client.
