N00b alert!

Hi guys, Goofy here, forum n00b and quite new to the world of vaping! Found your forum via a google search (can't actually remember what i searched for right enough :lol: ) and thought i'd register and say hello!

Anyway, been having a quick browse and it's been a real eye opener! Never knew there was so much choice and so many options!

Back story - been wanting to give up the real smokes for a while now, saw an advert in a national newspaper offering a discount for an e-cig starter kit (E-Lites) so thought i'd get one and give it a try. Tried it on and off for a few days but hated it if i'm being honest so it got chucked and the real smokes came back to my lips! Anyway, 3 weeks ago i had a massive asthma attack and wound up in hospital for 3 days - 32 years old and i've just been diagnosed with asthma, quite a shock to the system tbh! So, decided there and then that i was stopping the real fags, and since then i havent touched one!

Got myself a starter pack from SKYCIG and i'm getting on far better with that, the cherry and vanilla flavours are quite nice and im getting a decent nicotine hit with their bold cartridges so not craving a real fag at all now which is great

So, onto my questions - where do i go from here? Can any of you recommend a better e-cig to try?

Hi Goofy, you've come to the right place for advice, some others will be along shortly to give you some links to some great Riva starter kits, loads here started on them and many of us including me still have them.

One last thing I hope you did'nt pay £50 for the skycig kit?

Hi Goofy and welcome. Like you, I started with Skycigs. You will get masses of good advice and recommendations on kit. All I will say for now is Don't buy Skycig refills, they are a ripoff and Don't throw your empty Skycig cartos away, they can be refilled with jice and can be used on other batteries

Christ, you guys are quick with the replies lol. Firstly, of course i didnt pay full price for the skycig, im not a bloody millionaire hahaha. Starter kit cost me £15 with a discount code as opposed to the £50 without code! Bought a couple of 5 pack refills using another discount code i found lol.
