Hi goofy I was the same when I started, so many flavours The kit you've chosen is a great kit and should see you through. I havent tried the skycig.......... but have heard that its ok for first steps into vaping, you will find the riva kit much better in terms of battery life though

Vapescape gets the custom from a newbie again. Is this forum sponsored by them or something No Benny, it's just that that Riva kit is such a good one to go for. Not only price wise but also the fact it gives a newbie the option of trying cartomisers & a vision ego.

Welcome Goofy - you've chosen a great value kit to start with and you should definitely notice an improvement on the Skycig. See which you prefer out of the cartomiser and the clearomiser. The next thing is to explore the wonderful world of juice flavours, hope you strike lucky with some of your initial choices

Hello and #welcome2# from me too goofy The cartomisers which come with your riva kit will fit your Skycig kit too. Aslo you can top up the SkyCig cartos the same as the ones from the riva. Just take the little bung out of the top and drop a few drops of liquid into the cotton wool type stuff avoiding the center hole

Job done Benny a Twist isn't really the best thing for a newbie to go for, no matter how good it is. It's just one battery on it's own without any charger or anything else needed to start vaping.

I must admit, I was thinking about getting the riva kit too at one point. But found a good deal on Twists. Job done Benny a Twist isn't really the best thing for a newbie to go for, no matter how good it is. It's just one battery on it's own without any charger or anything else needed to start vaping. With a bit of research it could be. All you would need is a usb charger, wall plug, some boge carts, some juice and you're set. I didn't buy a "kit". I read a lot, asked a lot of questions and bought what I mentioned. I agree that some noobs want a kit. But why buy 1, 2 or more kits until you find something better. Why not go for something one time and save a lot of messing about and money on multitudes of kit? I spent quite sometime looking into what would do me well enough to experiment - VV device - with carts, clearos and attys. Has probably saved me a lot in the long run.

I agree benny, but the new user would require a fair bit of mentoring to get up to speed if starting off with a twist, would save them a fair bit of money though.

I agree benny, but the new user would require a fair bit of mentoring to get up to speed if starting off with a twist, would save them a fair bit of money though. And that is where the members on this forum come in. I know for the regular posters seeing yet another noob asking the same question must sometimes feel the generic "get X from www.X.blah may seem like it's helpful, but mentioning maybe a couple of options, or like someone did, refer them to the vendors page to check a few out would hopefully spur the noob on to ask more questions and save them money. I would feel pretty gutted and frustrated if I ended up with 2 or more different kits before finding something versatile and with some longevity. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather have one or two devices to cater for my needs rather than a drawer or cupboard full of different ones. I have: 2 twists mostly for use at home 1 mini ego 1 manual 510 battery for back up That's it. I had a SD keyring, but after getting the twists preferred manual batteries and a DSE901 kit that was kindly given to me. Once I was sorted I got shot of them. I guess the only other device I would like eventually, but do not necessarily need is a Provari - which would then render the twists useless imo.

I didn't start off with a kit Benny but actually spent more buying all the bits and pieces seperately! That Riva kit often linked to is very good value and has everything you need to get started, even a drip tip. It also gives you a chance to try clearos/cartos to see which you prefer. Once you have the Riva kit then it's easy to just add to it, you don't need to buy another kit. For example everything in the riva kit is compatible with the ego Twist
