juice problems

Hi, Well, hubby and I have reached a year off the fags - yayyy and he has no problems. I however have constant problems with the juice. I used to smoke menthol so tried that but it was too strong, really hurt my mouth and throat, tried many others but eventually went onto silk cut 10mg 50/50. I now find that every so often 9(throughout the day), my mouth and tongue feels a bit like i have drunk something really hot and the vape is not nice, later in the day it tastes ok. I have thought maybe I need to go down to less of the PG, as I have read this can cause problems. I was also going to go to zero nicotine as I don't think it will bother me now. Can I have some expert opinions please, I will not give up now but I know that I do need the vaping still. ???

It's really difficult to say for certain if it is the PG content that's causing your problems, but it would be worth a try going for higher VG%. As you are also thinking of cutting the nicotine, you could buy some VG & mix it with some of the juice you already have. however, that will also cut the flavour.

Yes I drink loads during the day - water that is!!! But I do notice if I have not drunk enough and the vape really hits the throat. Maybe I just have a sensitive mouth!! all those years of menthol smoking! Can I buy pure VG? Is it right that I read that Dekang is stronger than other types?

what are you vaping on? Could it be the delivery system doesn't suit you? I don't get on with vision clearomisers does it happen with all flavours of juice or only certain ones?

I am onto the stardusts now which are great, don't think its these as I have had it on and off since I started really, just seems to have got worse lately. I have tried dekang B & H which I like and it happens with, also any menthol (also give me dreadful indigestion), a couple of other tobacco flavours, but the silk cut seem to be on average the best. Is like nothing tastes smooth enough or mild enough??? difficult to describe properly!!!

I had a problem with e juice sore mouth sore throat and i found out was to much pg in it so i ordered some e juice of Mount Baker in USA (VG 70% Distilled Water 30%) (For people Allergic or Sensitive to PG) never had a problem since and its quite thin works well in any atomizer or carboniser. Some VG E Juice i found was very thick and had wicking problems.Hope this helps

Sometimes can take up to 4 weeks for order to come but its worth the wait and sometimes can be here in a week guess it all depends on customs

Yes have tried lots, baileys, coffee, expresso, fruit salad, berries, apple and though I like the first couple of hits (except fruit salad which was absolutley disgusting) they all then seem to go yuk in taste and my mouth gets a bit sensitive???? Think I will definitely try the 80/20 as a start and go with silk cut, I don't think anything else will have a milder flavour than silk cut?

Why don't you try mixing your own, it really is easy if you are using a single flavour, all you will need is some of your chosen flavour i.e. BH Concentrate, some PG and VG (and nic base if you still want nicotine), you will have complete control over PG/VG ratios, amount of flavour, nic content level, etc.

An added bonus is that you know whats in your mix, and it will also save money, with a little stock of base ingreadiants you will always have some juice available.

You could even try vaping flavourless, or a very weak mix and see how that goes.

Start saving those empty juice bottles now for when / if you decide to mix your own.

You can probably get cheaper than this from other sites buying in larger quantities but this would be a good buy to start you off without a big outlay

That is a good starter kit karma, for someone to have a dabble and get an idea and feel for how to do it, will make up to 55ml of juice for £10.99 and you will still have syringes, cups, pippets etc for next time.... Good one.
