How many of you have smoked since vaping?

Hi, I'm pretty new here so sorry if this has been asked before.
I was just reading the experience of another member about being a bit tipsy and not wanting [or having] a real fag. This can't be a rare occurrence as I would imagine that for many the two go/went hand in hand [especially for 'social smokers']
I can say hand on heart that since I started vaping [7 months now] I have had 5 puffs, not whole fags and all have been whilst drunk lol

You're dead right Lisa, the fags that were almost the habitual ones seem to prove the most temptation - at the pub, first one of the morning, after a meal etc. When I first got my e-cig I cut right back over a few days and then stopped altogether on 27th March, and since then have not had (or wanted) so much as a puff.

I started vaping in January. I have taken 2 puffs of a ciggie about 2 months ago, just to see what they tasted like..... It was horrible!!

I know for a fact i will never smoke again.

Will I stop vaping? I doubt it!

So true about wanting to see what it tasted like.

I was on holiday in June and was so worried I would crack, it was Thailand so the fags were so cheap too. Three puffs whilst drunk, on three separate occasions I might add lol and there is no way I would ever go back.
Don't get me wrong, it always smells so good.... but it's the smell it leaves behind!!! And the eating up of ones money lol

I gradually quit ciggies over 3 weeks, then stopped completely, since then not touched a ciggie not even a puff, infact I have been out and around smokers quite a few times, not even been tempted after a few beers, i swear your mindset completely changes once you realise how shite they are ;-)

Since getting my e-cig I have not had a fag or even a puff of one, I have been tempted a few times and just carried on puffing my e-cig till the feeling went off. Personally I would be scared of lighting up a real cig in case it made me go back to them.

I wouldn't worry there Mary as I doubt very much if it would!

I've found ciar, that the roles are usually reversed if I go out, with the smokers wanting a go on my e-cig lol

When I first started vaping I did have one or 2 when waiting for the battery to charge......... but since I got better batteries, I've not had one. Funny thing is, if I smell cigarette smoke now I feel ill

As soon as I got my first e cig. I finished the pack I was on and then quit haven't had another since. The first 2-3 months i was craving one almost constantly and thought a few times these e cigs don't work but when the craving got too bad I'd chainvape. Went to my mums for a weekend during this time and knew that that would be the real test as she smoked at the time (she's since given up cold turkey after 50+ years of smoking [proud daughter here? you betchca!) But they smelt offensive and I wasn't tempted in the slightest, AND it seemed to kill my cravings as i rarely get them anymore and often when I think of them i feel sick)

Not one since I started vaping, I sometimes wonder what it would be like to try one again, normally till I get close to a smoker and smell one.

I went to a party a couple of weeks ago, at the neighbours, i would say over 75% were smokers, for the 3 hours we were there, i was bombarded, with how does it work is it good, do you ever want to smoke is it cheap, in all honesty I was happy when we left lol

even had one guy try it, he loved the TH as i use a provari with a vivi on 4.2 nearly knocked his head off hehe

I struggled to kick the morning 2 fags for around 2 weeks, but I went down from 30 a day to 5 without even trying, stopped the morning 2 and haven’t had one or want one since 8th of August.

I got my kit as I finished my tin of baccy.I tried it ,liked vaping and then sold my unopened 50g pack of baccy,box 100 papers and a pack of unused lighters on ebay
