That riva kit is ace was my first foray into proper vaping and I love it!
Re sweet and menthol juices you can't go far wrong with e-liquid- e-liquid.com's double mint. Is very minty for the sweet side of things but also very mentholly - has the same warming effect as menthol, it's my absolute favourite!!! Discount code allabout (I think-look up fog on the tyne on here code is in his signature to double check) gives you 10% off so even tho you can only buy it in 10ml bottles works out at a similar price of 5ml from everywhere else. I've just placed an order for 7 bottles!!!

Welcome to the forum Cambo
Biggest range of flavours for the least money is probably Mirage Cig's Oasis sampler, 32 flavours (2.5 ml each) for £19-99. I doubt if any of them is the best of its type, but so far they have all been very vapable, if only for a change, and it would give you an idea of what is out there.
I'm trying to find my best nicotine level, so I have 18mg and zero mg bottles of my favourite flavour which I mix (one day I'll get a mixing kit).

If you're going to order an extra Clearo order a rebuildable one. The one that came with my Riva leaked after a few weeks, the rebuildable seems more sturdy, and also as the name suggests you can replace parts and rebuild it much easier than the other one.

Wow, thanks for all the very helpful responses, so leave the extra clearomiser for now then, and see how I get on seems to be the consensus of those in the know As for the juices, the 6 for a tenner option from Vapourtine seems a very good deal, but I must admit some of the gourmet flavours from VapeEscape sound amazing.......decisions decisions.

Hi cambo. Look at it this way - you are likely to get through at least 2/3 ml of liquid a day, so a few 5ml bottles are not going to last long. Plus you probably won't like all the ones you try. Go for both

I'm finding that i'm using a pre-filled carto every 2 days at the moment, or there abouts, I have no idea what this equates to in ml's though, but I did read a guide on here last night that said if I was used to smoking 0.6mg of nic in my old ciggys then I would need 1ml of 12mg juice a day so I'll use this as a guide.

VapeEscape had a pick-n-mix of liquids last time I looked on there, but they seem to be gone now, or am I looking in the wrong place? You're right, they have gone. Jason may be re-stocking The Pick 'n' Mix will also be back on tomorrow - just re-stocking

Ok, so I've been looking at theses all day now ( even my other half has said "bloody hell, are you STILL looking at them things?!" Haha ) and I think it's got to be the Riva, with an extra clearomiser, as I don't think I'll bother using the cartridges, and then a nice mix of sample liquids to round it off. Anything else I might need? If it's the Riva kit 1100mah batteries that's good. Don't order an extra cleoromiser order a mini nova and type B plinth. The mini nova comes with two spare nova heads that can be used on these batteries so basically your getting three and i'm still using this combo .

I've just looked at the strength of the pic-n-mix juices and they are 20mg, although according the the strength guide i should be vaping "20 Cigarettes 0.6mg nic = 12 mg Nic per day - you need 1ml 12 mg Juice or 2 ml of 6 mg juice".....so, will the pic-n-mix be too strong for me, or will it mean I just need to vape less?

The guide is a fairly old one & only a very rough guide. We don't absorb nicotine in the same way as smoking. IMHO, you would be OK with with 20mg juice. If you found the strength too high for you, you could always cut the juices with some pure vegetable glycerine (VG). You can by a small bottle of VG from the baking section of most supermarkets for about 50p or a 100 ml bottle from most chemists for about £1.20.

Ok so i've messaged Jason at VapeEscape and he tells me that he will have the black Riva kit back in stock as of Tuesday (I'm not much of a girly girl so pink or white doesn't appeal) so that's what i'm going for. I've also got to chose some e liquid now, and considering my favorite flavours are chocolate and coffee can anyone suggest any good liquids? I also love anything sweet, but absolutely detest coconut, so any other suggestions would be good. I'm thinking of getting some sample bottles to see what I like before committing to the larger sizes so a few different ones would be good. Thanks again.

Sample bottles are a good idea, I started with grizwalds. Pick and mix my first order I think was ginger, caramel expresso, Choco haze, arctic lemon and arctic cherry

5ml samples are certainly the way to start, and the Grizwalds pik'n'mix is a great range

Ditto, Grizwolds pic n mix was my first port of call too! Lot of nice flavours to choose from and a relatively cheap way to start out

Caramel Espresso? Now that sounds like my kind of flavour! I'm kind of liking the idea of Chocolate Lime flavour too, anyone tried that?
The Arctic Cherry sounds good too, whats the 'arctic' bit about though, is it like a menthol taste?
