A lot of broadband suppliers provide free space - you'd have to check with yours. Or a freind or relative might have free space from their broadband supplier that they would let you use. If your website is simple - no database etc - and doesn't need a lot of space - that might do it for you. Otherwise, there are lots of suppliers of free webspace. There's a forum - www.freewebhostingtalk.com/ -which you could look at before picking one. I set up a website for my bowls club a couple of years back. Tried a number of free web space providers, chose the one that seemed the safest, it went out of business leaving me high and dry. So I decided to pay for one - something like £20 p.a. - at least if they go I'll know in advance and will be able to move my files elsewhere.

www.webs.com/ I've seen this one reccommended a few times while I was looking at wed design stuff. I've tried it out and it's fairly straightforward to do it, plus if you're any good you can use CSS/HTML coding to make it look exactly as you want it. If not, just use a preset sheet and type into the little boxes they give you.
