Converting opportunities are nil for me as we aren't allowed to leave site during working hours for a ciggie where I work But some people have heard that I am on ecigs and were curious, cards would be a good way to get them searching in the right place at least

if I seriously thought there was a chance of getting a provari & penny, I would have already submitted 20 designs rather than looking for parts to build a VV mod

Just been on the phone telling my little brother to get his backside on the forum and to get himself an e-cig. His gf doesn't smoke, neither does our Mum, both of whom he lives with, and they are constantly on his case. Told him it will be the easiest thing he's ever done, and he'll wonder why he never made the switch sooner. Converted by nagging! Lol

Exactly. Thing is our Dad died 10 years ago of cancer, so really we both should have given up then, but its taken this long for me to really start to realise the effect it's having on my health, but my Bruvs is a bit younger than me, and still thinks in that 'I'm young, I'll live forever' way. But the sooner he quits the better, and if it takes a 3 way naggathon to get him to do it then so be it! Lol.

I cannot say I have converted anyone to vaping yet. My lad plays for a football team and the only 3 smoking parents have now converted to vaping in the last month. really quite odd as none of us had talked about it prior to our conversion. We all just turned up at a match ecigs in hand.

Hi All, I've so far converted my Aunt she is now the proud owner of a white Riva kit in comparison to my black one. Everyone in the office is okay with me vaping at my desk which at this time of year is a real bonus! I must admit I'm a civil servant and thought they would be really off about it but they were great. When they see the vapour coming over the top of my computer they just check that its not steam coming out of my ears LOL. Am currently slowly convincing one of the girls by letting her try each of my flavours. A work in progress but looking positive.

lol thats the way steph slow and steady, get them intrigued, thats how I converted a couple of guys at work, let them try a bit of cherry, a touch of vanilla, a little bit of apple, and before you know it they are buying their own

From the experiences I have seen in this village, those that are spending a fortune on cigarettes daily, when trying an e-cig, will buy the cheapest on the market then be disappointed with both its performance and battery life and be back on the fags the next day, telling everyone that e-cigs are rubbish.

Well they do have a point!

While Skycigs and the like are okay for the odd time that a smoker cannot have his beloved fag
and can make do with a wee cheapo e-cig for a couple of hours, they are hardly going to convert many to long term vaping 24/7.

IMO, those that do change over to full time vaping are already looking for an alternative to smoking before they try e-cigs and that is why, once they have tried them and found them lacking in taste and battery life, then persevere until they find the perfect set up that suites their needs.

E-cigs on their own will not attract a big following. There has to be a wish to find something better, or cheaper, or healthier, or something.
The E-cig is only the vehicle that will help them get to wherever they want to go.
