I have found a number of people are interested in e-cigs since seeing me use them for over a month, in fact my mother in law has now got a skycig, I gave my sister in law my spare skycig kit yesterday (I don't need it now I have my riva), and about 6 of the people I work with are now using cig-a-likes of one form or another.
Is this something anyone else has noticed, that as others see them vaping, they too start thinking about converting, or actually do convert to vaping.

Theres so many new vapers in Bournemouth that we have 3 brick and mortar shops and market stalls 3-4 times a week within 1 mile.
Yet a year ago I`d never seen anyone vaping.
It can only be a good thing for everyone...

I don't know of a shop in the Norwich area as yet (don't think there is one, but please correct me if wrong).
I do see it as a good thing that so many are converting, as if I'm feeling this much of a difference in my health after 6 weeks, it has to be good for everyone, and that's without starting on the effects of 2nd hand smoke on others.
I do think there needs to be a little more in the way of publicity for e-cigs and vaping culture, as those I know who have converted, would have had no idea unless I told them about it, and where to go to get kits

I must admit, i've been talking to my work colleagues who smoke about it a fair bit recently. They're all quite curious and a couple have expressed an interest in converting, and they all keep asking me "have you still not had a fag then?" and then they're quite amazed when i say no, actually, i haven't lol. A few mates from the local have also asked me about it since seeing me with my Riva, so i'm slowly getting the word out there. One of my friends was already a convert, and her partner was recently telling us that most of his lads (he's a site manager) have all gone over to e-cigs now because they all love the different flavours. I think it's definitely becoming more popular, and more and more people are joining this forum each day, so that's a good indication that others are catching on.

lol I do keep getting asked if I've still not had a real fag too. There are waves now being made at work, to have the office made vape friendly, but the directors are a little hesitant about it. I do enjoy talking about vaping with others I know, and as I'm sure everyone her has noticed by now, I can't say enough good things about my riva but I do advise people to go via the cig-a-like route to start with, and progress from there if they feel it's right for them.

I am constantly being asked by colleagues at work about my 'not smoking', even by those I don't know, but have obviously been told by others. I have not stopped any habits, I still go to the smoking area to vape on my breaks, and just watch their faces as I switch from strawberry, blueberry, winston or whatever flavours take my fancy at the time, and then see them stub out their fag while I keep puffing away... it's hilarious. My only problem is when they ask where can they get more info, and I realise I haven't got pen and paper to write down the various websites, and even then possibly misspell them. Some have googled it for themselves and ended up buying some crap. One has even bought from the States (no, not a Provari) but a fairly standard eGo kit. Took ages to get here and it's got a faulty battery, but it did save him $10 from buying in the UK ??? Not sure about the return costs! To help with this I asked Jason at VE for some of his business cards on my last order, which he duly included a batch, and have also used up the cards that come with my LF orders. It also occurred to me that AAEC cards would be great to direct people to this forum. Could the mods do a costing which could possibly include a margin to help with the running costs of the forum. It would certainly save me a lot of hot air if I could just give them a card, and say 'Just go there and all will be revealed!' Sorry if this may have been suggested before.

Raffles, we have talked about getting AAE-C cards done in the past, but nothing has ever come of it. Mainly my fault, I know However, in the mean time, the easiest way to let folks find this site is to tell them to google AAE-C UK & apart from an ad for American airlines, we come up top of the search

lol I do think that would be a good idea, having AAEC cards would save me having to answer a pile of question when trying to chill on my breaks. I to keep the same habits I had when smoking, as the way I see it, it stops me becoming a chain vaper, otherwise i would just sit there all day caining the juice

It is only an idea but could the forum mods put together a page of cards that we could copy then print out as we all will have printers that would solve the printing and delivery cost in one fell swoop and then the forum would have the last word what was handed out with recommended web sites

I converted one friend, as I sent her a kit. She loves it & has since given up smoking. Other friends & family members have had a vape on mine, even non smokers. ??? Six have now bought various kits & are happily vaping away. With the knock on from them, plus from your various family, friends, colleagues etc.....it's certainly a growing trend!! Personally, I've only seen one other person vaping & that was at an airport a couple of weeks ago. I heard a laugh as I was head down, vaping & Kindling away, looked up & a guy said snap, holding out the same kit as me.

So who`s the best designer here? How about a competition for best card design?
