The E-cig is only the vehicle that will help them get to wherever they want to go. This is very true, I started looking into better e-cigs within a few days of being on the skycigs, as I was sure there would be something better out there, and thanks to my aunt sending me on a mission to mix my own juice (still not done it, just mixed ready made juices), I found the riva kit, after a week of reading and watching reviews, I decided to order. If I had have just gone with the skycig, and not looked further, I would have probably ditched e-cigs by now. Yes skycigs do the trick for a bit, but as people are probably realising, I need to have a constant source of new experiences, hence why I'm now building a VV mod, looking into direct dripping and mixing my own juices.

I'm with the goth. The first e-cig I tried I knew wasn't going to be good enough, but I knew that there would be something available that would be, either now or later. Fortunately it turned out to be now. I wasn't looking to give up smoking at all, assumed I'd never be able to. If you tell people that their cig-alike of choice is just an indication of what is possible then maybe more of them will get to the next stage of looking around. Then again, I haven't converted anyone to vaping yet. I'm working on a couple, and I did convert one from the e-lites that she was losing patience with to buying her own liquids. Bigger batteries next. And I didn't know Bournemouth had vaping shops, and I go there twice a month!

I've converted 7 folks to the light side now. And am lucky that I work for a small company and we can whiffle while we work in th'office.
I have given out cards but usually, I take their email address and then send links and info.
I got into it by researching for someone else, got on here and other forums, watched lots of videos and just knew it would work for me. Wasn't even thinking of giving up!
Bought my Riva kit and have never looked back since 7th Jan this year, after 40 years of 20 a day.
Only seen one other person whiffling and that was in Turkey a couple of weeks back in the hotel resort. He was Israeli, looked like an Ego type thing (like mine) and we just saluted each other with our e-cigs!
Fantastic invention.

I have converted no one and it's not for a lack of me trying. No one at work is interested. One seemed to be and I ordered them a kit but they didn't stick with it for long at all.
I talked to my sister about it and she said no, she doesn't like the idea and she'd quit smoking for her wedding, which she never did hah.
I don't like to vape in public so no one will ever really ask me about it.
I'm stumped because there I am with my ecigs for over a year and never smoked and no one is remotely interested in the fact I just don't smoke anymore.
It's not the way I approach it, because I don't if you get what I mean. If they ask me questions about it, I'll answer but I'm not going to tell them to quit and it's perfect for them - it worked for me, it saved me money, I'll tell you how it works and where to get it from and that's about it.
The one night I did use my ecig outside a pub, I had more people laughing at it than I had people asking me nicely what it is. Just the area I guess and my terrible luck.
I still have several vendors business cards in the wallet I rarely take with me (cos I'm scottish hah) and they've been there for a year! No one wants to know other than to annoy the living hell out of me about it I swear.
