New here and just wanted to say thanks as this forum has already been a mine of useful information. Been using Skycig for about 12 days now and am down to 4 tobacco cigs a day. Considering that's from a 40 year habit - much of that time around 30 a day - I'm happy with the progress. Afraid I can't bring myself to say that I'm 'Vaping' though. It makes me think of someone staring slack-jawed into space - a cross between 'vacant' and 'gaping'. As I already spend a lot of my time doing just that it's just going to lead to confusion.

Thanks all des and Chrissie - I have no problem with the batteries at present. Although they don't last too long, the charger kit they provide means it's no more hassle keeping one charged and ready than, say, rolling one up. The only issue would be if there was a significant fall-off in battery efficiency after only a few weeks as constantly replacing them would certainly cut into the financial saving. I'm sure I'll try other brands in time but for now I'd to get my money's worth from the starter kit. I'm considering topping up with (tobacco flavoured) e-juice as I've had a couple of duff carts that didn't last anything like as long as they should have. I might also look for a nicotine free option (if I can find one - I don't think Skycig do this) as I'm convinced that half the time when I reach for a cig it's from habit as much as addiction.

Dan don't throw your old Skycig cartos away, you can re-fill them with e-liquid

Hi Dan & Welcome. I too started with a skycig, still use it now in the office, like you say as long as you have two batteries it's not too much hassle to keep one on charge whilst the others being used. You will save a fair amount by topping your skycig cartridges up with liquid too as opposed to buying more of theirs, so get stuck in, have a look at the sites suggested and get yourself some juice.

Dan, Oneday is right. Also you can buy replacement cartomisers elsewhere for less as the Skycig has a 510 fitting. So any standard resistance (SR) cartomisers will fit.
