I would have liked to go to this meet, but unfortunately it clashes with Leeds Film Festival, and I'm fully booked (going to 35 screenings over 16 days ).

That's a shame Chris, but the film festival sounds fun, not sure where the room is for sleeping during all that

It's not too bad - it averages out at between 2 to 4 films a day.

Having said that, based on past experience of doing the same, I can say that it is a surprisingly exhausting experience, even though the majority of what you're doing is just sitting on your arse. And it's also really disorientating. You know how cinemas make you lose your sense of what time of day it is? (Especially when you see a film in the daytime, and emerging into the daylight afterwards can be confusing?) Well, it's like living with that sensation over and over for 2 and a bit weeks.

I would seriously consider going to this, but a motown weekend at butlins that weekend has been booked for sometime.

If there are lots of people who would definitely attend but can't because of the date, we can see about changing it, the more people who can come the more likely it is we can get a quiet venue and another day may be possible. Will give this a few more days, see what the interest is and go from there.

Thanks Chrissie, I just went and posted there and also looked at my first ever posts on ECF, made me cringe a little, but it shows how much things have changed in less than 4 months, arranging a meet and soon to be making a living from vaping.....how did that happen? Lol
