It really depends on the situation. And without knowing the facts it's impossible to say whether you are right or wrong.

Something may have been going on where it is impossible for IMEO to continue to use Cam. We just don't know.

so the update from cam, its dated 16 sept but ill forgive a typo. "Dear Customers, we are continuing to work through the pre-order refund list and will have this completed shortly.

Customers that have orders over 60 days cannot refund via the normal method. We are discussing this with our Paypal Account Manager and hope to have this resolved tomorrow.

In the event this can't be resolved we will use the send money option to reimburse for orders.

I apologize for the delay, we are inundated with emails and can assure you that all refunds will be honored. We regret that the stock for the last order could not be shipped from the supplier to alleviate these issue."

IMO. Imeo should have simply sent the pre-ordered items from his stock and sorted the monies direct wth Cam.

But surely, that's the problem (apparently) if you have money problems with a vendor, why would you continue to work with them?
Or to put it another way, if you know someone had ripped you off, would you like him to profit from another round of income from your products? Or there is "problems" with you getting the money.

I'm not saying this is the way it is, please don't think I am. I'm saying, this is a possibility and to ignore the possibility is probably the wrong thing.

Imeo should have drawn the money after cams obvious expenses and sent from his stock

I think it's alot more complicated than that, especially between different countries, the possibilities are wide.

But yeah, I agree with your first point. Shame really, as alot of people would really like to know....... but someone would really be in the doghouse. Not that we would really ever find out the real truth, both sides would spin it in their favour.

Yes but he has been dealing with Cam for a good year or so and he also broke off his relationship with the French supplier at almost the same time quoting the same reason.

If what I read is correct, he's done this in the past with Moju and then Lisa at Cloud9 who took him to court I think.

There is something more than just "accountancy" problems here..Regardless it has affected a lot of people who have a paid a lot of money waiting for goods who were relying on him to deliver. Most of them have gone past the 45 days cut -off to open disputes and paypal is now posing problems about not investigating disputes quoting their policy.

It's a mess. He should be more professional. Instead he is pointing everyone to a supplier in Greece who does not even have a credit card processing facility on his site. How unprofessional is that for an online trader?

I never liked paying money before hand. All this pre-order stuff and jumping through hoops is just bad business.

Create a demand, just under supply that demand and you've got where we are today with GG stuff.

He added a code to his browser so he wouldn't see them.

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone that either posted on the thread on ECF or even just gave likes to us that did so

Imeo isn't stupid & I'm sure it's partly due to the posts/likes plus this thread & the one on UKV that he has decided to reopen the thread. My last post on that thread just before everything got deleted was in reply to another poster asking what others that had lost out where doing. I replied saying something like -Main thing they will be doing is never getting involved with pre-orders again. Which hopefully got to Imeo as today he started his new pre-order thread

IMO, they should finish this pre-order before they broke up business relationship. To speak truth, i just think that it is unprofessional to cancel customers' order like this, especially when all money were paid in advance. Taking customers money for two months for nothing seems weird to me.

After this situation, i decide to walk away from GG products. Too much problem to get my hands on one. Furthermore, there are many shiny stuffs out there.
