Hi
I don't smoke myself but my daughter and son in law do and they have asked me to research e-cigs as they want to try them. Between them they smoke around 25 - 30 cigs a day, Mayfair or Superking Lights.
Please could you point me to any good brands / deals so that they can give it a try? I have looked at the e-cig forum but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, maybe because I don't smoke?
Thanks a lot in advance

Firstly, do you think they would mind using an e-cig that is larger than a real cig?

Hi sheshe and to the forum. Some great vendors about who are a delight to buy from. Look at this thread vendor list and discount codes and remember to use the discount codes for even better value

#welcome2# from me too it really is nice to meet you but I'm wondering if it would be easier to pass on advice if your daughter or SIL joined up themselves?

Thanks everyone for your welcome I am researching for them as I will buy the first ones to encourage them and I like to get advice before I buy. I will look at the link, thanks a lot. Has anyone a preference, ease of use, taste, cost etc.? My daughter smokes more but it is around 15 a day.

The Riva kit that karma recommends will give them a better experience, but the size might scare them off - quite a bit bigger than a cig. The 510 is cig sized.
I'd go for a couple of different juices, one high nicotine, maybe 24mg, and one fairly low, maybe 12mg. More nicotine gives more throat hit as well as more buzz. If one is too weak and the other too strong, at least they know that something in between is available and will suit (they can also try mixing them). You can get pre-filled cartomisers if the video puts you off filling them. Much cheaper to refill rather than throw away the used cartomisers, but I guess the main thing at this point is to sell the idea.
Someone else will have to advise on a good flavour for Mayfair and Superking lights users.
Good luck!

SheShe, if you are confused about anything any of us have posted, please don't hesitate saying so & asking as many questions as you want to. I know how overwhelming it must all seem, but in reality it's all pretty simple to get started - honest

Hi sheshe, and welcome! I've been using e-cigs for about a month, and have decided on a 510 (that's the battery connection size) eGo-T (that's the make) batteries with something called a Vision Clearomiser www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-rebuildable~388 - the ones that I use are rebuildable, that is the bit which burns the juice (the atomiser, or 'atty') is replaceable but all the other bits are reusable. There are many different types of starter kit, but with a bit more information, I'm sure someone here can help you get them off the fags! Please feel free to ask, as Chrissie said above, and the forum will do its best to answer your questions with good unbiased advice!
