Lynn, as Karma says, you need to read the forum rules for starters.
And surely, you need liability insurance to sell online as well?

And surely, you need liability insurance to sell online as well? Absolutely right - every vendor, online or otherwise, needs liability insurance.

Hi Lynn, this is George from Vapetime UK. We had the same issue and did a research to find the best offers. I will suggest you to visit: www.cmtia.co.uk/Product and Public liability for £48 annually but this is only for the market. Hope that helps

I'm sure Jason of VE said he pays around £5,000 annually. Certainly gives me peace of mind and must be better cover than £48. Do vendors have to show proof of insurance to advertise here? Sent from the beach in marmaris

We do pay over 5K and I know some of the larger vendors are nearer 50K.
Sorry but there's no way on this Earth that a £48 policy will cover you for selling imported e-liquids and electrical products.
There are less than 5 insurers who will even touch e-liquids and because of that the premiums are large.

The £48.00 will be public liability insurance . Incase some one trips over something NOT for damage the liquid etc does to someone . Ian

Sorry guys didn't mean to create confusion. From what I understood Lynn is looking for a public liability concerning ONLY a stall in a market. If you are talking about some other kind of insurance I do apologise I am wrong.

The point holds good, really - and, frankly, if product liability insurance was in place, then public liability insurance wouldn't be a problem - whoever was providing the product liability insurance would likely have rolled in public liability insurance as a matter of course
