I'm really really sorry. You must all think I'm a right ignorant so and so!!! Thank you so much for all your replies, and I promise to check back in much more often. Out of fate and without me mentioning it, my sister bought an e-cig about 2 days after I 1st posted in order to try and give up. I'll admit when I tried it, it didn't feel or taste good, BUT, she has since bought one for me, a Titan e-nic. I've been using it for the past 2 days but I've still been smoking, although I've probably cut down by half (Generally I'd smoke over 30 at least of L&B or B&H), so, so far so good. I've to think it'll be a while till I stop altogether, but I'll keep coming back here as often as possible. Thank you once again for all your replies, and sorry for the delay in coming back. xxx

Lovely to hear from you again Stella, thank you for the update Even if you have only cut down by half, I think that's a great achievement - well done :-D Just keep counting the real cigs you don't smoke rather than the ones you do Out of interest, what was the first e-cig your sister bought?

My sister has the same one as me, a Titan e-nic. She's really done well, she used to smoke at least 40 normal strength cigs a day and has gone down to none. Must admit it was a bit of an eye opener when the nephew saw me with the e-cig and said 'Does that mean you're going to live longer' :-[

Gut wrenching now... but if it's the catalyst that gets you off the ciggies, then it will eventually be one of the best things anyone has ever said to you. I know... my mum gave up smoking when I was about 6 years old... apparently, I had refused to kiss her goodnight because she smelled bad (because of the ciggies, not just in general!). :-[ Sean

Just checking in as promised. Gut wrenching isn't the word when my nephew said that but hey ho, onwards and upwards. c Am still figuring out how to use the e-cig, but getting there slowly but surely. Thanks once again for your replies, I'll be back soon to let you all know how it's going.
