I will keep that tip in mind next time it happens. (50 grams) of citric acid crystals into a kettle half full of boiling water for 10 - 20 minutes should do the trick! Tip it in slowly as this has got a tendency to fizz quite a lot. Once the fizzing has stopped and you can see some deposits of scale still switch the kettle on but only until the water fizzes again. Rinse well and use. Citric acid is available from wine making shops ,Boots, chemists You will get two treatments out of a 100gram . Its cheaper then descalers and is E friendly! It is safe to use on all kettles including plastic kettles. Sorry to invade in your Thread

I've heard you don't get much colour in the vape but you do in your mouth

Hmmm,
I had a look at the list of ingredients for the average food colouring:- Red 40, Blue 1, Water, Purified Titianium Dioxide, Propylene Glycol, Xanthan and Acacia Gums, etc.
To my mind, not enough research has been done yet on products that are classed as “food grade safe”… there is a lot of difference between eating and inhaling by super-heating liquid and chemicals in order to vape.
I would tend to err on the side of safety, especially if it is not essential or required.
So to sum up, I am not sure, I don't know, not been enough research to say yes it is safe or no it is not.... Personally, I would leave it out.

Apparently yes but only faintly. Nothing to the mess it will leave in your mouth though. I googled it a while ago as I was wondering if it was possible myself. (would be cool having blue vapour) lol

I would leave it out too. Why would you want to colour your vape? Some flavourings may colour it slightly, but for most flavour is needed. Colour isn't needed for a nice vape though I'm with frog on this, leave the colouring out

im mixed on this lol , on occasions it would be funky to have a coloured vape you could exhale(Halloween) .. but it would be purely novelty and i cant see why anyone would .. although a bright red liquid would look funky in a tank style atty
