I'm honestly not being the most positive person recently and I apologize for that, but I'm really frustrated with the lack of flavour. If it wasn't for the menthol juice I bought I would be back to full time smoking, I just know it. I was going to buy a VV mod, but it's too big a risk especially considering the cost of the things in the hope that I get more flavour.
Things I'm considering doing.
Trying more Flavours.
Getting a Kanger T2, hoping the lower res will give me more flavour.
Getting lower res cartos again hoping for the same result.
or a Mini nova and using the 1.8 head.
The menthol is great, but I get tired of it sometimes and it doesn't go well with beer or tea. Anyone have any other ideas? I really need this to work. I'm feeling much healthier and I've started going to the gym. Feeling pretty good about myself. I don't want to spoil it.

I'm honestly not being the most positive person recently and I apologize for that, Hang in there. I have to admit to swapping off my well-used Arctic Lemon when I have tea or coffee. Mini nova with 1.8 blew my head off. I'm not convinced I got more flavour than the others, but I got crazy vape... (for me ??? ) Have you tried some crazy strong flavours. I have some tobacco(s), some cappucino and RY4 in 24mg and they are overpowering. Don't rush, it might sort itself out. The other day, I moved two liquids out of my case I couldn't taste. I've been re-trying them today...so far, so good.

Be careful with Low res as some Batts dont provide enough oomph, the twist would cover that, also higher temperature can strip some juices of flavour but every juice ive found has its 'sweet spot' at different voltages.
Im with you on the menthol and beer issue, just not right. If im gonna have menthol i mix some fruit with it to make it more 'interesting'.
Fruits in my opinion are better for tasting, followed by Doppio Espresso Coffee, that stuff gets your attention but not in a harsh way. The caramels and creams may be a little delicate for you unless they are mixed strongly.
Have you tried pixies 'kool' fruits?, cold effect without the menthol aftertaste to ruin beer?

One tobacco vape that I can highly recommend is the El Toro Cigarellos, I would imagine that would hit the spot with a beer

Ewol, just a thought, but do you drink coffee? If so when you first open a jar of coffee, it smells & tastes fantastic - several cups later, (especially if you are a black coffee drinker) you can hardly taste it. Another example would be if you ate the same food all day & every day - it would soon taste of nothing.
But above all, how much taste did you really get from real cigs - apart from a burning taste? Did they really have a pleasant taste the same as the smell of freshly rolled tobacco?

I think you may need to take the plunge and get a VV device.Possibly try a Lavatube, they arent too pricey and work really well.I started with an Ego c 1100mah setup and within a week i was the same as you,i had found only 1 juice that satisfied me,Cocomel. You WILL get more flavour from a VV device as you can fine tune it to get your own "sweet Spot".On non VV devices your really are unable to fine tune your vaping experience.Different juices vape at different voltages and with a non VV/VW set up you wont be able to do that.Flavourwise,i can highly recomend Alba's Swedish Fish and Grant's Vanilla Custard. There are cheaper versions of the Lavatube ,like the Thundervolt from 2SMOK,and at just short of 50 euros for the FULL kit, charger, battery, and 2 attys, thats not a bad job, theres also a discount code as well.So including Recorded delivery and tracking it all comes to 57.25 euros which is £46.60! 2smok.com/mod-s/thundervolt/kit-thundervolt.html

hang in there buddy , id would say ... and this is me others might not agree , i wouldnt bother with the kanger t2 i found they broke to easy (unless they changed them) i would how ever say do go with a mini nova and if you grab it over and vapourhut youll get one for 4quid or 6 with 3 different coils 1.8 2.4 2.8 that way you can try them all and still keep the cost down while experimenting me personally ive found they are brilliant with the 1.8 or 2.4 on any ego or riva batterys ive tryed them on give one a try

Ewol, you're doing great, it's early days though! What set up are you using? Many people when they first start vaping still have the odd ciggie, especially in the beginning when trying to find a set up and e-juice that suits

You will find during the first month or 2 that your sense of taste is all over the place, the only thing that got me through it was menthol, used it as an all day vape, and every now and again had a vape on something sweet that I liked, but not for too long as it lost it's flavour really quickly. Things will get better.

Another shameless plug for the Manchester mini-meet but it's only a couple of weeks away, if you can come along to that you will have chance to try lots of different devices, including VV

My out-and-about/backup is an ordinary Ego - no twist. With the 1.8 head on my Nova it isn't as good as I can get on my tin mod, but it is pretty close, and way better than a standard resistance cart. Even the 2.4 head on a cig-alike is an improvement.
If your current battery will drive a low res cart, then my advice is to get a Vivi or mini Nova (prefer the mini myself), and see if that solves the problem. If your battery won't, and you don't like or can't afford the lavatube or tin mod, then I'd bite the bullet and get a twist.

If I don't rotate flavours every half an hour or so I stop tasting them, at the moment I am vaping in rotation...menthol, bananas and cream and licourice tobacco.
I only get a chance for two or three sneaky vapes a day when I am at work, but once I am home I virtually chain vape and my taste buds go on strike.

I know how you feel ewol as I like to be able to taste the flavours I'm vaping too and find a lot of juices just don't do it for me. I've had some from www.vapology.co.uk/e-liquid-8-c.asp and really like them as for a few pence extra, you can have extra flavouring added. Well worth it in my opinion cos it makes a lot of difference.
