Speaking of bringing e-cigs upstairs for the night, I do it too. In fact, my e-cigs are never very far from me at any time. It's not that I'm heavily addicted to nicotine, I was a light smoker, 3/4 of a pack a day. I just like to puff on it.

I was quite disappointed last night, as despite remembering to tote an ecig up to bed with me . . . I didn't wake up until the alarm went off. Norty Scylla.

Lucky you Perpy, I wish I could sleep straight through the night. In fact, with the awful winter we are having, I wish I could sleep straight through until spring.

Lol Jerry! I've always said I could happily hibernate for the winter . . . my sleeping has been been dreadful for as long as I can remember, but since packing up smoking and not having my own business anymore, it's been a complete turn around.
Always said I smoked because of 'stress' but with hindsight cigarettes made me more stressed.

I understand (from maybe Allan Thingy who wrote the stop smoking book) that cigs make us stressed because we're withdrawing from the last one much of the time. Maybe that's why I constantly vape ???

I am usually up up by 6am. I don't think I have ever slept the night through, even as a child. I do go to bed earlier these days though, by about 9pm. But that's mainly for the luxury of my electric blanket on my old bones !!

Perps! How stooopid and slow are you?????? I have so many gizmos now that they are all strategically placed throughout my home, along with bottles of juice for top-up purposes, should the need arise. I have my SD by the bed, as it is the weaker/less effective gizmo I have. (not my best buy), but it is there when I wake and feel the need to puff, especially as I know that the awake stage is going to last at least a couple of hours before I can nap again. Am amazed at how much tutt is on TV at that time of night/morning. That's currently happening circa 3 every morning, albeit am a tad concerned at googling 'waking in the night' to find loads of sites indicating that 3 a.m. is apparently the ghost/witching hour. At least if some apparition arrives in the bedroom, I have Chelly on stand-by (well, snoring) and my SD to poke them with.

Hi Hanow, long time no see!! What a load of 'night owls' we all are - wonder if non-smokers are as bad? MM
