one good thing that a lot of Spybot users miss is they have a forum,when i found the 2 trojans i had the forums had the cure in there,but me being me,best advice i think is no matter what you use to remove them ,the safest way is to wipe delete and re install everything,better safe than sorry and all that you have ,back it up regulary now another little tip ta da!
search fleabay now and again for any old HD Sky boxes or if by some chance yours goes up the creek,they have any thing between 250gb to 1tb sata drives in them,was talking to a sky engineer [old cab driver friend] these hd boxes are prone to breaking down,mainly from heat ,but the hd's are fine[we had two replaced in a yr] some engineers if you ask them may leave old box if you ask them some wont ???

Another thing wit h good old sky if you decide to leave them,or had it installed recently Freesat runs off same satelite!,i have sky and freesat running on same dish.most instals sky put quad lnbs incase you want multi room,just run sat cables from spare point to freesat boxes ;Dif it has a single point lnb no worries quads on ebay for fiver delivered

I did this too, nice quad on mine, 1 main freesat in living room with dual feed for freesat HD+ PVR and 2 single feeds for upstairs bedrooms... Thanks Sky

ok another tip for old hard drives or one you have taken out of laptop that has bitten the dust,this some times works on corrupt discs so you can re salvage lost pics and documents, if not then if you really need it a PC shop using £££ software may be able to recover it for you:

you will need a external case ebay do them cheap laptop hd cases start from around £3 upwards plus P&P
to identify which Hard Drive you have look at connections simple way IDE have 2 rows of pins, Sata /Pata have slide on connections[no pins]

easy route:
right click on bottom menu bar[where clock is and start button] click on empty space,you will notice "Lock Taskbar " with a tick,un tick it..
Right click again on task bar as above,select tool bar another window pops up,select New tool Bar,this will open a new window...
on the menu laeft side just click "Computer",then click select folder[no need to click anything in that main window]
Now down by clock you may see a row of dots[basic a seperator,now you can either just leave it or you can left click mouse keep it down and drag it across task bar,your choice,now right click on empty space and recheck "lock task bar"

ok if you dragged it you will now see your hard drives and dvd writer[or cd writer] if you left it just click on arrow or it may say Computer.it will then dispaly as mentioned,C:[or local disc] this is usually the main HD it will have a windows symbol,when you plug in your external had it should come up as D:,if you have more than one HD inside comp it will be the last letter.local disk[they wont have windows symbol]

Now right click on the HD select open; all the HD contents are shown...
now look for folder "USERS",and double click it,now hat you named your pc will be shown along with public,you want the one with named on it,double click it and voila all your old document folders,picture folders and even old desktop are now accesible
