punisher actually just looked back at that & it's wrong, I use the same amount of peppermint as there is menthol liquid, so by the time the crystals have dissolved there'll be closer to 15ml of menthol liquid. Also I use mine with a wee bit of tobacco in a mix & I tend to use it with SS wicks so that mutes some of the harshness, think if I was going to use it with silica I'd either up the ratio of peppermint say 2-1 or easier I'd add a tiny bit of sweetener.

CCW champagne is really strong. It is ok on it's own, but as a mixer it is amazing stuff. It seems to round out and enhance other flavours (but beware it can take over them just as easily if you add too much). For me it is a must have in my mixing kit

Tanks Frogster, this a really useful info, and at least I'll have more of an idea about Cupcake safety . Good idea to get this info from the source. From a not-Froggy in France

There's also some info at guidetovaping.com/2012/02/diy-for-beginners-flavor-list/ The first thing I check for when looking at a flavoring that I don't know is does it contain any oils? I am not sure about Cup Cake World as there is nothing stated, but it would be very rare for an Almond flavoring for instance, not to contain Almond Oil, that's how they get the flavor.

Unless..... Like most of CCW ones, they are what is called "Nature Identical Flavours".... Not extracts, but manufactured using headspace tech.....
Look again at the spec sheet... "Solvents: Mono-Propylene Glycol, Legal Status: Nature Identical"
Headspace tech (a simplistic explanation) a very clever bit of software connected to sensors that "sniff" a real product and then list out all the components that make that smell, then a chemist can reproduce it from synthetics.... resulting in something that smells and tastes like original but it is not.
Anything is possible.... from a Fart to a Fishcake.... and getting better all the time.

Frogster (The Alchemist) - Thank you for posting this. The information is extremely useful. As you mention in the OP, it's very useful for mixing by weight. It's clear that the flavours that use alcohol alone or as an addition to MPG as a solvent weigh less per ml than those just using MPG. Alcohol has a much lower density than MPG so that makes sense. Do you know if similar MSDS data is available for TPA, Capella and other flavour manufacturers?
