Indeed - the thing is, and what gives me pause for thought, is that Diacetyl, for instance, is absolutely fine for eating, but, as we know, can be deadly when inhaled - hence my caution. Id also be cautious, as its fine for cooking with, but how do the ingredients work when heated. Diacetyl is just one of a few compounds that are used in or found in food flavouring that is safe to consume, but not inhale.

Are they used in the same quantities as the other popular concentrates? At 28.5ml per bottle they seem good value.

Has anyone used CCW flavours in their recipes and how do they compare with Capella etc I've found a number although nice to be on the weak side upgrader, although some like Cream are also very strong. It's swings and roundabouts, what you lose in intensity is compensated by the value for money they offer. hi i use all ccw flavors can i ask a question Product Name: Liquorice Flavour Product Code: 0536 Description: A Clear to Pale Yellow free flowing liquid Weight/ml Weight/ml@20°C: 0.9212 TO 0.9580 Refractive Index@20°C: 1.4216 TO 1.450 Acidity: N/A Preservative : Absent Aroma : Strong Liquorice Taste : Characteristic Liquorice Suggested rate of use: From 0.01% Suggested Applications: 1. Flavourings Additives Present: None Not suitable for use in: N/A Microbiological Information: Nutritional Data/100g Total Plate Count : <2000 Calories (Kcals): 542/2305 Coliform/E.Coli: Absent Carbohydrate: Nil Salmonella: Absent: Total Sugars : Nil Yeasts & Moulds: Absent Protein Nil Fibre : Nil Packing: plastic containers Storage: Cool, away from direct light and strong odours Shelf Life: 12 months from delivery This product is a concentrated flavoring for foodstuffs and it complies with current UK and EEC legislation Notes: Issue No. 1 Date: 11.04.2005 This copy issued: 23/10/2012 i have some of this but then read i cant vape it is it because of the solvents ? also mine is black this says its Description: A Clear to Pale Yellow free flowing liquid I use flavourings with Ethyl Alcohol in punisher, I also dilute my VG with Vodka . . . it's a cautious approach by the Supplier as they probably don't know what the long term effects will be. As with many things we do on the vaping front. I'm happy to be a guinea pig.

Don't think you need to worry about the Ethyl Alcohol no worse then using Vodka to thin VG, think it was flagged cos quite a while ago several peeps who no longer partake of alcohol were worried about alcohol in juice or flavourings so asked the question from suppliers. Only thing I would say about it is that I use it in a Blackcurrant & liquorice tabac mix & boy does it gunk up the wick real fast, & that's using it with SS wicks. 2/3 days & I have to gently clean my wick in situ I also find that it's quite a gentle flavour takes quite a bit for it to come through, think when I've used this bottle I'm going to switch to aniseed flavour & see if it's any better.

Pretty sure is was info that 28vapes had got from CCW, but I'm sure only on the basis that Eythol Alcohol was used as the solvent, think 28vapes were going to question it but don't remember ever seeing a follow up.

4madcats what do you class as quit a bit im up to 20% liquorice and 20% blackberry still seems week to me also tryed some liquorice and menthol think im at 15%/10% at the moment Looking in my little book, @ 34% overall flavouring, CCW blackcurrant is 14% & I can really taste that, liquorice is 16% & all I'm getting is an after taste. Man if your using 10% menthol your tastebuds are shot, totally FUBAR. I make my own menthol mix, 5gm menthol crystals from the chemist in 10ml PG, gently nuke till crystals have dissolved, add 10ml CCW peppermint & that's the flavour, 4% of that with 1% koolada my tastebuds are alive & my sinuses are clear all day. 10% menthol
