I've not tried these yet as I've bought so much kit of late I didn't need to but the LR 510 cartos I like to use are rapidly running out and as I know you can take these apart to clean them to make them last a bit longer I thought I'd give them a try so can some one advise me on which brand/model/ohms I should buy to get around the same as my boge LR cartos ?

I'm not going to be much help either Camper as I'm not a huge fan of carto's . . . Ian's our resident Carto King and swears by Bogetech's LR510's . . . which he also boils very successfully to prolong their lifespan. At a guess I'd say the clearo's with the lowest omh's are going to be the closest to LR's working through the numbers to a standard/HV equivilant. I see Toby at IVapour stocks these www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/c-e2-510-xl-clearomizers.htmlHe's a really, really helpful supplier - I'd suggest dropping him a mail to ask. toby@ivapour.co.uk

Good on ya Camperman.I am so happy its also worked for you.I boil my Boge LR510s like Perpy said. Some of them are now 2 months old,and still going strong I love these cartos, they just never seem to want to die??I think its great.I just wait till i have about 20 cartos, boil, blow out excess water, leave overnight on paper towel.Ready again to be vaped next day. I would love to know why cartos last for so long??wonder why atties are not as consistant ???I have never had a bad Boge LR510 yet, they just seem to all fire up excellent.

lol Perpy. That guy in the video,is the one who i picked up the boiling tips from.Saw his video on you tube.He seems to know his cartos, and is using his at 5v on his boxmod.Mine are 3ohms,so i think they will be best at 5v.I will try them at 3.7v first but think they will be better on the 101.I dont know nothing about clearomizers though,so its another new thing to have a go with.I will let you all know what they are like.

Delighted to hear Ian's boiling tip worked for you Camper! It must be something in the way carto's are constructed as opposed to atomisers is all I can think Ian as to why boiling works so well with them. The science of it all is way over my noodle. Sounds like a plan with the clearo's to try the 3omhs @ 3.7v first. . . although like you I'd suspect 5v's will give a bit more welly with them.

another tip i picked up on another forum was to remove the wadding altogether and just use it as a standard attie either with a carto on or a drip tip. its like everything else when things first come out theirs very little to choose from but as time goes on the market gets flooded with different varients of the same product and it gets harder for the buyer on what to choose, we all get used to a certain product but also get curious about what else is out their, i suppose ive gotten into vaping at a magical time as so many different things have come out since i started out full time vaping in late october last year

Nothing ever seems to work out being quite as wonderful as we always hope it is going to be, does it? More's the darned pity.
I was very taken with this bit of text about being in love which I've copied from one of the posts in the above thread, applies to pretty much everything, doesn't it?!
"1st stage - Infatuation - they can do no wrong 2nd stage - disillusionment - you realize their faults and become resentful towards them 3rd stage - mature love - if you're still with them after stage 2, you accept their faults, love them anyways and try to make it work.

Always a downside to these new products lately.Though it does say a syringe, cut in half can make a couple of replacement tubes,if they do crack :)Thats not the point though, they should be made so they do not crack, surely
