i remember a thread similar to this a little while ago where someone had a broken evolv kick and they noticed a small crack on the brass base well mine stopped working friday night and i have taken a look at it today and mine too has a crack on the brass base hhhhmmmmm not too impressed

Wasn't it Jayjay, whose Kick developed a crack . . . he put a blob of solder on if I remember correctly Gordy and it worked/still works.

Yeah it was me perps. That old kick that I brutally soldered up is still working, day in, day out. Ironically, the second kick that I bought and hardly used ever. Packed up on me. That had a tiny crack in the plate too. But I never touched it up. I sent it back during the warranty period and I got a replacement, the replacement has a tiny crack on the plate too! And both those kicks were straight from the box.
