vapinglikecrazy, I tend to agree with you on the point you thought you'd get lynched for. If a teen is smoking, and smoking regularly, as quite often they end up doing, then why can't an ecig be a way out? I think I'd do the same tbh.

You'll be pleased to know, my daughter's lost interest. Thought for a minute there she was going to get addicted!

Thanks for bringing this up Jules. It made me find this: www.ehow.co.uk/about_5501615_symptoms-nicotine-poisoning.htmlIf you ever look after kids, you should read it, or something like it - "Most cases of nicotine poisoning involve children eating cigarette butts or nicotine gum, and parents who smoke or use nicotine gum should be aware of nicotine poisoning symptoms." - and that must apply to us too. Probably more so if we vape juices that smell tasty to them. I smoked in the house, in the car, with my kids. I don't feel all that guilty about it - the research about passive smoking hadn't been done back then. I might do if either smoked now. I never hid my smoking from the grandkids, though of course they would only see me smoking outside, or through the glass into my study, which they were never allowed into. When I vape I go out, or into the study, if they are in the house. They still see me of course. They are still young enough so when they ask "What are you doing Grandpa" I can say - vaping - its kind of like smoking, but not as bad for me. Still very bad for kids though."

Such a good answer Giles, tell them it's dangerous and leave it at that! Although we all advertise to adults enquirers how good is it compared to smoking and how they shouldn't frown on us, it doesn't hurt to tell kids it's a "little bit bad"
All the research I have done, only shows dire consequences when the liquid is drunk, so as long as the liquid is out of sight then that's the main thing! I now make sure all my e cigs are locked. Thank God I've got Ego PT, not sure all devices lock in this way!
