Vivi Nova has no air holes

Hi All
Me Vivi Nova arrived today. I was very excited. (I'm so sad)
Just washed the wicks, quick dry burn, rewashed wicks, filled with Juice, couple of drops of juice on the coil, let the wicks soak for 5 mins (lies, about 30 seconds) Went to take a nice long pull and ......... bugger all.
I almost sucked my eyeballs into my head. Lol
I couldn't get any air through it but off the battery i can.
There aren't any drilled holes above the threads that screw into the battery.
My Mini Nova has them.
Have i missed something or is it a case of 'who checks the checker' but i could be having blond moment.

What battery are you using? My mini nova needs a dct plinth to make it work when it's on my lavatube v2

I didn't wash or dry burn any of my Vivi Novas before use. Just filled and went, perhaps took a good few drags for the flavour to come through

I can't understand that VV ??? It should work fine on a Twist.

Yeh mine worked fine on my twist with or without a plinth.
Sounds like a duff / fake one. I'd be in touch with the place you bought it from.

Hi Karma.
Proberly going over the top to dry burn when new but my Mini tasted foul for a day. Repalced the coil with another that came with it and that was the same.
Read a thread about dry burning to clean the coil and so had a go and it was fine.
So i will do it from now on even when i buy new ones. Rinse after you do it though or it tastes the same. Read that as well on here and it works. I have had a nightmare with trial and error. Lol
Worth it though, love Vaping.

tighten correctly - not too tight

have you checked that your twist is working with other things? Could be a centre post problem

Yes, I would try putting another head on it, my mini novas work fine on a twist but ive never used the bigger novas, although they should work fine I think.

Yours will be fine Suede. It's the first thing i've brought that has been faulty.
ChillerVapes i got it from a vender on here and i will call them in the morning. i am sure they will change it, it's not their fault.
It's a good job i have new coils and heaps of tanks and clearos.

Really . . . you don't need to wash these out before using them and you only need to dry burn, when the coils have had some use use and gunked up, which a new one wouldn't have.

You could even have dislodged one of the connections with all that needless washing.

But each to their own I guess.

Everything is working But the Vivi. I think its a dud.
It's firing but i can't suck any air through. Put 2 heads on it.
I brought new heads for me Mini and thats better than ever. Nice.
Me new clearos are working really well too so i have enough to vape on.
It's just i hate sending anything back. i would rather drive north to the shop than stand in the P/office all afernoon here.

Have you a 510 to 510 adapter VV, to raise the connection and see if a bit more airflow helps at all?
