Hi Everyone. Gave up smoking `fags` some 43 days ago. tried Skycigs OK but no satisfaction. friend mentioned ego e-cig equipment. bought starter ¬Stoptober` kit from e wizard, was delighted using ego clearmiser. Now I have 3 ego 900 1 being `twist`, along with vivi nova mini, dct tank, boge carts. Awaiting delivery of Ego mod, along with aga-t & kanger 3. I am still not 100% happy with my vaping, so by joining in with your forum I know that I shall get the information to give me that full flavour, throat hit experience I crave. More important not to make expensive mistakes. Gave up `fags` to save money, but at present vaping is initially costing me a fortune, especially the juices, there are hundreds out there to try Be patience with me as I am a very `old` newbie. Thank you all in advance for your help and guidance. jeffc.

Hi Jeff. It always seems to cost the earth when we give up smoking and switch to vaping.
But providing you dont crave every new thing that comes along, you`ll soon start to save money.
Good batteries will last for months if you look after them. Atty`s do wear out, but the latest ones are rebuildable, so only really the wicks need changing, which is relatively cheap. Once you get the hang of things, and find a flavour of juice you like, then maybe move onto mixing your own, which makes it even more cost effective.
I mix my own and it now costs me no more than £1-2 a week....
What flavours are you vaping at the moment?

Hey Jeffc,
I'm a newbie, so I'm sure someone with more experience will be along later, but what juice are you using just now?

Hi Brian . I am using electra plasma, citrus fruit type, pixie juices, grizwalds gourmet juices. Black cat is also one of my fav`s, all samples at 20mg strength. Finding that I am not happy with `tobacco flavours` which came as a surprise, I seem to favour the `fruit juices, but there are `hundreds` out there. One day I will find my favourite, at present it`s `mint choc` from pixie juices, great after a meal vape Thanks for your welcome

Hi Jeff and welcome Finding the right juice is I think the hardest part, also, many of us find our taste changes so hold on to the ones your not keen on as on a month or two you may love them you seem to have some tidy batteries so that nit is sorted. The Kanger is getting some good feedback, hopefully that will help a lot, what did you smoke and how many?

Hello & welcome Jeff As Sandra says, hold on to the juices you don't like & try them again in a month or so. if you still don't like them, you could try selling/swapping them on our classifieds board

Hi jeff . Seems a familiar route into vaping - like you and others I also started with Skycigs and changed to the ecigwizard kit. Luckily (in an "every cloud has a silver lining" sort of way) I'm out of work and a bit strapped atm. Consequently, I've spent a lot of time looking longingly at shiny kit and different juices but haven't been able to overspend. For the moment I'm sticking with the ego-t (which does me fine) and only ordering juices on a replacement basis; allowing for steeping time. Congrats on stopping smoking completely - it took me the best part of six weeks before I could finally get off the last 2 or 3 a day and it's still surprisingly tough at times.

Hi Sandra. I switched from 25-30 day `Mayfair`, to Virginia rolling tobacco 12months ago, but you can`t roll a `fag` whilst driving, or out for a night out.. Hence being intro`d to e-cig, via the "STOPTOBER" campaign. Best thing I`ve done in my 69 years. At present enjoying the journey, wondering where it will lead me. Thanks again everyone for your warm welcomes. jeffc
