Vaping in the Boozer......

I have yet to see anyone having a vape in any pub or club that i've been in. Just wondering if any of you do this as i think i'd only do it myself if i saw others doing so. ( not one for being the centre of attention, me . )

Nor me but, our local is only 100yds from the house and most people know one another and they let me vape, I am the only one so far, first time I have enjoyed a drink in a pub since the smoking ban was being able to vape there

I think if i pulled out my new tornado chrome in a city bar, id probably get thrown out for carrying an offensive weapon

i havnt either, but then i dont go out often enough. but myself did vape at stansted airports departure bar, which im very proud of

I'm sat in costa now vaping, I vape on the bus, at the train station, people are usually too busy staring into their phones to notice what you're doing

No, us British are usually too polite, music blaring from headphones on a bus, all the windows open in the middle of November

I suppose if someone did I would explain, I do try to be respectful too, I don't vape on the bus if children are on board or if someone is sitting next to me

my mate took his ego on a night round town , he asked if it was ok to use it in every pub he went in and they said yes so looks like Hull is vape friendly

I've vaped in a pub in heywood after visiting vape escape, I've also vaped in pubs in halifax, skegness and a witherspoons in dewsbury.

Simple rule here I guess is, ask 1st, vape later since in a pub the landlord is king

I've vaped in nearly every pub in Oldham. Never asked first or had a problem. I think most of the time people don't even notice and if they do I get 'What's that?' and usually have to let them have a go. I got asked where I got my riva from (LT is too big to stick in my pocket ) I said Heywood! The guy asked if I could get him one. He's a regular in the pub so I'm going to get him a kit and he wants a mini nova too. I'm going to have to give him 10ml of my El Toro as well, he said he doesn't want other flavors just the one I was using.

I've asked if it's OK to vape in a couple of pubs where the staff had no idea whether it was or not. In one, the barman just shrugged and asked if it was legal. In the other, I was told, "Not if smoke comes out of it." As I wasn't give a definite "yes" or "no" answer, I did vape discreetly with a mini ego and held the vapour in. If anyone noticed, they didn't say anything to me.

When I asked at the place where we usually go to watch bands, I know the owners and bar manager are all non smokers, so I was expecting to be told that they didn't allow it. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the manager's answer was, "Of course it's OK to vape here" and then he explained to me how vaping worked and how much better it was for me than smoking. I was impressed with his knowledge of vaping, especially as he's never smoked himself.
