The photos & videos thread in the New members Forum that Fish kindly started when we moved here from our old eBay group is now a tad out of date to say the least The e-cig world has changed so much since some of that info was first posted in our eBay all about e-cigs group nearly two & a half years ago Would really appreciate some help updating/starting a new thread with a similar theme. For starters, it would be so helpful if folks could either post pics of there e-cigs/mods here with a bit of info about them. Thanks in advance. Chrissie xx

Will do, Milady. I will post pics and info about my Joye eGo and Boge Leo. That should help out a bit.

Thanks Jerry & Perpy I want the thread to contain as much info as possible so we can refer newbies to it. But at the same time, not overwhelm them & or bore them with things like 10 minute video reviews. Lol, don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with long reviews but I doubt most newbies would want that much detail about any model to start with

I'm having second thoughts about the SB/GGTB . . . mainly because I think it could be confusing for anyone starting out on their vaping journey, as I doubt either of those would be a first option for someone.
What's the ecig we all tend to recommend? Has to be a Riva/Tornado ect . . . so perhaps a really informative thread about these & similar would be better?

Perpy, I'm pretty sure that the Riva and Tornado are the same as the eGo, but they are more popular in the UK than the eGo is, so it would be better to do a review on them.
Chrissie, do you want the reviews posted in this thread? You can always move them to another thread later.

in this picture is most of my e-cig paraphernalia, WOW its not till you see it all together do you realize how much stuff you can collect over a 3 month period it scares me to think ive got an order from the TW yoyo sale on its way and a week off ordering more from hong kong . for me my vaping carear started on blackpool seafront whilst on a friends stag doo, we saw a guy on the seafront selling the cheap and cheerfull £10 e-cig that lasted all of an hour on the way home on the bus which i would not recommend anybody buy as ill guarantee itll be in the bin within days. my personal recomendation for anybody starting out and wanting to enter into the world of vaping would be the tornegorivahalo better known as the ego or tornado as this vaping device gives a better idea of what vaping is all about and is pretty simplistic to refill, clean and charge the batteries. i know many people will actually buy the ego or tornado and will use it solely as their device of choice but if your feeling adventurous and would like something with a slightly bigger battery my second recomendation would be the MK2 screwdriver. hows that ? sorry its a work in progress and ill come back to it when i get time

Thanks folks. What I want to try & do is start the thread showing basic generic models & how they work. As we know, most newbies have never even seen a n e-cig & don't know a 510 from a GGTS or even what an attie is or what part is the battery. So what I'd like to do here is collate some pics, video tutorials that you yourselves have found useful & I'll put them in the opening threads. The sort of thing I'm looking for to begin with is pics of a basic 510 - assembled & unassembled & same for the Riva/Tornado/Ego. I don't own any of those models myself & so many of the pics on vendors sites are protected or watermarked so i can't use them. After the opening posts we can then move on to talking about different models/mods. Jerry, I'm not so much looking for reviews of each model, more like a "This is what this one looks like & briefly how it works" sort of thing. Camper, that is quite a collection

Ok, Chrissie. I have the 510 with both the regular and mega batteries. I will also post pics and brief explanations of the eGo and Leo, assembled and dissembled. That's a nice collection, Camper.

I want to know where Camper gets his "neat" genes from..... If I knew where to buy them from, my life would be so much easier... Sorry Chrissie, I know that's not a helpful comment...
