I know I wasn't going to chip in but

B&H Gold are 1.1mg nicotine. That means you were consuming about the same as me per day over the same amount of cigs.

I have a RIVA kit, but I don't think it was necessarily this that got me off the fags. It was consuming enough nicotine over a period of time that cracked it for me.

I went with about 15-20 vapes per day, 18 or 20mg liquid and using quality cartomisers. Try as hard as I liked, I couldn't do it on re-filled E-Lite cartomisers.

f.w.i.w. I would recommend any battery that can last a while (2 of them really, in all honesty) minimum 650mah. and a "kit" that offers you a clearomiser and some cartomisers.

If you have clearos and cartos you can decide. Personally, I'm giving up on cartos as they need re-filling during the day and can burn them out at an alarming rate. I think I vape too fast on them.

If you decide on a kit with only one or the other, why not add the missing item to your shopping list.

satrted on a dse01 tank didnt really like it but at time didnt notice the drop down on juice bit and only one at time i could find ,which ahd GV at 36mg,being a heavey smoker thought way to go, after 2 days saw the CE5 EgoT liked it reasonable price ,never looked back,as for changing to use other fluids,just rinse them out come apart in 3 pieces- top,bottom,unscrew coil.....
now in the 3 weeks since i started vaping bought the:
DSE901 Tank[keeping it for emergency use now lol]
EgoT Ce5 twin pack
VV Spinner 1300mah
Ego Twist 1100mah
VIVI Nova[in two mind on this clearo,preferring the CE5] think the self coil would have been better
Bought complete DIY mixing kit,done first batch whole 10 ml,used it today was impressed lol ok 100%vg

Will add teh GV has a slight sugar taste and the Viginia can rip you tonisls out but i like both lol

I went from Skycig and Vapestick to EGO-t and CE4 clearomisers. Best choice i could have made. Im really happy with the kit from Purevape. The batts are 1100mah and the clearomisers are a doddle to fill,gives loads of vapour. Kit was £44.00 with postage but did include 30ml of e-juice.

I was a bit whoahhhh at how big the riva is , will just have to get used to the size of it I guess. However I have managed to fill the clear thing as that looked easier and am happily puffing away on it . OMG what a difference from the skycig! So much easier to get smoke or whatever you call it out of it and it feels more like I have had a cigarette .
Now to tackle trying to fill the cart things
Eeek this is quite fun actually, day off work so should be able to figure the beastie out by this evening

Clearos (the clear thing you referred to!) are the way to go - I use them exclusively for me and I've not touched a fag in over 2 months (well, once, but it tasted like burnt rubber!).

I have filled a couple of the cartomisers now as I bought a few different liquids to try. Like the menthol sensation and the expresso flavour not so keen on the ry 4. Bit sweet for me ATM but am hoping taste will change as I start to get over the ashtray mouth syndrome . Set the nhs smoke free app on my phone too.
It's no where near as hard as I thought this e cigarette thing am starting to understand now I actually have the kit in front of me!
Only problem now is I can see this becoming an expensive hobby.

I have been vaping for almost 11 weeks now, i started with a Riva kit, i have bought a few more batteries but i think i will stick to the Riva's as they last me a day and a half, i am not into buying all the shiney gadgets, i wanted something that worked and got me off the cigarettes and it has, i have now settled on my Riva batteries and 3 differnt types of juices, in the beginning the hardest thing was to find a juice that hits the spot, i now prefer kanger carts to clearo's , you need to find out what suits you, happy vaping....
