The stress of trying to choose/sort out a new kit is driving me to cigarettes > I bought a skycig a couple of weeks ago. It's not "bad " but the cartridge things are really expensive and there doesn't seem to be any continuity with how long they last, one can last 2 days next one half a day with pretty much the same useage. The battery life was a massive problem for me too I was having to have the batteries on charge all the time , make sure the case was charged for me to take to work and that would pack in half way through the day . Apart from that the idea of e cigarettes was fine and I got on better than expected . I smoke around 15 B and H gold a day . I would like to give up the fags completely so I need a good kit to get me going but I'm so confused after reading hundreds of posts on here ! Is a riva something I should go for? Can someone recommend me what I should order to keep me going for a couple of weeks? Last thing I want to do is run out of supplies and go and buy cigarettes again. Also how easy is this refilling malarkey? I'm rubbish at fiddly stuff am I going to be able to get the hang of it fairly easily Thanks for reading

Hi and welcome to the forum this kit has been getting recommendations recently use discount code AAEC for 12.5% off - www.exhalecigarette.co.uk/eXhale-CE5-Starter-Kit-p/ece5sk.htmFor nice easy filling ........ I can recommend the mini novas if you fancy a change of delivery system, but the clearos with this kits are so simple to use Happy vaping

I've recommened the Exhale kit to a couple of friends now & they both liked it. Theres also this kit from a different vendor who has a really good rep www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151The only difference is this kit gives a choice between Cartos, very similar to the carts your using on the skycig and a clearomiser. Also don't throw away the carts from your skycig as they can be refilled, all you need to do is gently remove the little white plug at the top, the end you vape from and drip more juice in. The vapeescape site also has a good pick & mix selection to help choose new flavours. Don't think there's any difference between Rivas or Egos just as long as whatever you choose has a 510 fitting, which they both do, it means you have the greatest choice of cartomisers/clearomisers

Hello & welcome!
Whatever kit you buy, make sure that it comes with two batteries & TBH, the one madcat linked to has 1100mAh batteries & the immediate choice of cartos & clearos, so that one looks perfick!
Good luck with getting set up & giving up the dreaded weed.

Hello and welcome from me too. You'll not go wrong with either of the kits already linked to. Don't throw the sky-cig out though, handy to have as a back up and as mentioned the cartos are easy to refill. also, any 510 standard resistance cartomiser will fit it, like these

Thank you all for your replies *think* I am leaning more to the riva as it comes in pink ha! And the place that 4madcats ( I have 1 mad cat btw that's bad enough ) linked too does sampler bottles of the liquid stuff. One last thing before I go and spend I like to swap my skycig cartomiser things around. I had menthol crown tobacco and cherry all on the go at once or I used to get bored. Can I do this with my new kit or am I stuck with 1 flavour till its gone

And I've got 9 cats-not all mad though If you go for the Riva kit that comes with the 5 cartomisers as well as the vision clearomiser, you could easily use the cartomisers in the same way as you do your skycig ones. Plus as others have said, the cartomisers will fit your sky-cig & vice versa.

Hello Themer, Welcome to the forum i started of with the e-go kit 2 batts at that time kit cost £50, they are a lot cheaper to buy now. There is so much to choose from, go on line and look at what people on the forum have suggested go for the best battery that will give you vaping time a lot depends on if your are wanting more throat hit or how high or low nicotine you want i would recommend a variable voltage batt like the ego spinner on Liberty Flights around about the £23 mark that's just for one batt. Always have two batteries as you need one to be on charge as you use the other and plenty of juice and spare cartos or tanks what ever you happen to be using, a vv batt may be not i dont know depends on what you want best of luck im sure you'll get their.

Hi themer and welcome to the site, I am also rubbish at fiddly things and pretty clumsy! I have the same kit as esmecullen suggested and I have been vaping away happily for 6 weeks with no fags (they are still in my kitchen draw and I just haven't fancied one which still shocks me!) I admittedly haven't tried other kits so I am no expert, but I really have found it easy to use and I have another friend who has just started vaping using the same and he is also getting on really well with it good luck with the vaping edit-typos as always!

Many of us fell into the trap of cheap cig look-a-likes. I tried and failed to quit using the "infamous" E-Lite. I don't know whether I should detest them for false marketing of a truly over-priced and ineffective product or thank them for leading me ultimately to this forum. Either way, you'll be OK on here.

Hi I've also just started and went for the exhale starter kit as above, as recommended on here. I was in the same boat as you, started with cig-like cartridges (e-lite) a few weeks ago, which were a bit useless, either the batteries were on charge all the time or the cartridges hardly worked or appeared to last a very short time. I swapped between cigs and ecigs for a week or two, the good bit being I had realised that I could easily make the changeover if I had better kit. I considered 3 kits, exhale CE5 Starter kit, Viva La Riva Deluxe starter kit or going full hog with a Vape Escape Vision 1000 Ultimate. In the end I plumbed for the exhale starter kit (with a plug in wall charger). The deciding reason was that it looked fully interchangeable with the VE Vision 1000 kit, which I would buy at a later date if it all worked out. The Ego battery appears to be used extensively, so I can try other delivery systems in the future as well. That was my thought process, not sure if it was a good one or not. Whilst I was doing all this and waiting for the kit to be delivered, I started re filling the e-lite cartridges I had, with some eliquid I'd already bought, this worked much better re smoke/flavour. Not sure about Skycig, but e-lites was a simple case of prizing the plastic cap off and soaking the wad/gauze inside (being careful not to squirt eliquid down the hole in the middle). I managed for about 5 days cig free on this, I just had to constantly manage the battery charging. Now been using the exhale kit for about 5 days. 1st thing, you have to press the button on the side to work it, the instructions didn't say that (exhale are altering their instructions). A battery lasts loads longer and the charging has been much quicker (might be due to having a wall charger now). Lots of continuous smoke, lots of eliquid inside the tank. So far, I'm very pleased with it. I've decided to do a clean of one of the CE5's today, seemed quite simple on a youtube vid. I'm sure the Viva La Riva starter kit is just as good. Re eliquid, I've bought a selection of 6 x 5mls from Vapourtine with a promo code off here (6PACK) which worked out at £1.48 per 5ml. Re nicotine strength, I was on appox 8 a day GV rolling tobacco. I got a few 11mg and a few 18mg strength. My experience is that I'm currently vaping loads more than I smoked, possibly just due to new toy syndrome. So, my intention is to cut down the nicotine as much as possible. My next purchase will be low nicotine, but keeping the 18mg in reserve just incase I get an urge. Good Luck Paul
