Just how important are these to the vaping experience ? Do the more expensive ones operate better or are they just decorative ?

Both, I've found metal ones to be better, less condensation that plastic, and the whole feel is better - I don't have an RBA, just a nova, but alu and stainless are the preferred tips for it. I'm sure there are some that will provide some sort of air flow or something and have been turned to not only look great, but add some additional element into the vaping experience, of which I have none lol

There is one which wicks away condensation but damned if I remember where I saw it. I lose em & the dogs crunch em up if they get hold of em so I don't buy expensive ones. The metal ones quickly look gunky with bits of lipstick & skin. I expect you've noticed Tim

I'm out of lipstick lol They can give that stuck lip syndrome one used to get with ciggies lol Especially when its cold, I've just picked up an aluminum one up from VapeEscape just to experiment with, it's turned nicely, but did put a different o-ring on it as it wasn't as tight a fit in my Nova as I like

A nice shiny stainless steel or ceramic one is my favourite. Ceramic ones feel nice on the lips - like drinking tea from a proper cup, metal ones are nice but a bit chilly on a cold day.

Yep +1 for the ceramic, especially if your using an all metal dripper for testing as they can get warm. Think thats why a lot of the gennys & things like the Vision Eternity come with SS or chrome ones.

I like the Whistle-style in Aluminium (or whatever lightweight cheap metal it is).
Cooler (actually COLD for the first few puffs) and prefer the shape to round.
???

I can't stand the metal ones myself, I taste the metal?! I also have a phobia of chipping my teeth on them. I like plastic ones, I wish they did one which was silicone on the outside and plastic on the outside. I haven't tried a ceramic one but I might get one

I need to get some coloured ones as im losing track of what liquid is in what tank. Still at the experimental stage buy a great roll of maskin? tape write the flavour across and snip off.attach tape to bottom of your nova/clearo,,easily attached easily removed always know what juice is in your tank
