Whilst Nic Base is very good prices for smaller amounts up to 54mg strength I'd recommend Post Modern Smoking and deliveries are super quick. With no worries about Customs charges.

Decant into glass bottles? The last lot I got from PMS was in glass bottles, as the nic does not freeze solid you can just put it straight in the freezer. I have some HC 36mg that is in plastic bottles that I did not decant and is in the freezer.

Thanks for the answers. I'm not sure i can negotiate the freezer space with my OH until after Christmas - we have a lot of people coming - but probably cold enough in the loft for a while. Cheapest UK seems to be www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/25-mixing - £188-38 for 2 litres after discount & shipping.

Greendollar, the mixing kits I've seen haven't seemed good value. You really just need bottles and maybe 2 syringes, one about 10ml, one 1 or 2 ml.

That's a great price Giles for 2 litres of 54mg, last you for some years. All my nic base is in the freezer as well, though I have bagged a drawer in my vaping friend's freezer, which I have no qualms about as I mix their liquid for them. In all honesty if you didn't get it away into the freezer immediately, this time of year, it isn't going to make a great deal of difference to the long term life span.

Thanks Perps I'm still wondering if I should decant into glass bottles. Plastic kind of breathes, very slowly. Mineral water, fizzy drinks keep much longer in glass (I used to keep a bar).

Just remember that some liquids have a tendancy to expand when frozen , so I wouldn't fill a glass bottle to the neck just in case

Does it actually freeze? I suspect it doesn't, quite.

No it doesn't freeze solid Giles, just thickens . . . my nic base is in plastic bottles I must confess, Pete from DV reckoned that the worse that would happen is maybe the strength might dilute a smidge over long term storage in plastic.
This doesn't bother me, but if it's a flavoured juice then it could be worth storing in glass as some of the flavour may leech into the plastic.
