I think I will take peoples advice and get the LT extension and some IMR 18650's for the LT and if it's still not what I'm wanting out of a device, I'm looking elsewhere

If I had the skills, I would have made my own mod by now but I don't so all I can do is sit here and grumble because I cant afford to buy a Provari lol

I got THIS ONE from Vapourhut, it does not have the sprung center pin.

My guess is you're using crap batteries chiller...............That's a lot of battery per day............

Yeah thats the young june version which I thought was the lower quality one because it's the clone... Turns out I chose the wrong 1 lol
I like idea of pulse rather than a solid current even though a lot of LR vapers don't like it.
I also like the ohm reading ability. I know people have had problems with the spring centre pin but touch wood, mine has been fine but for some reason, I still can't get a ce5 to work on i

If you fancy the looks on that Gripper Chiller , I d say get a VV boxmod from one of our UK modders , Garry Dibley or Stig are 2 I ve used and they re still working fine . Longer warranty and more durable for pretty much the same money (can be cheaper ) . My Stig box electronics craps on the Lavatube board from a great height performancewize .
Nowt much wrong with the lavatube mind , it sounds like your batteries are moody (what you using ?) or just unsuitable . I used to use any old junk on my lavatube V1 ...and just had to swap out at 3.7 ...or 3.8 with dual coils .
I m slighly suspicious of your connector too , try lifting it a tad to see if you ve compressed the grommet and this is contributing to your performance loss . Even a crap battery shouldnt be wimping off that quick .

They are the bog standard rebranded ones which came with it if you bought it branded as a torpedo chrome mini (rated at 900mah)
Its only about a month old now.

Get a couple of 2000+ mah 18650s. Put both in a box mod, or one in the extended mini lava and change it twice/day.

I had a look at the Torpedo package on TW and they re listed as IMRs so you should be doing better than that Chiller . Has it always been like this ? Also are you just on a 1.8 single coil at 3.7 ? Soz bud , dont mean to pry , its just perplexing .
You may have compressed the grommet behind the pin and its losing power there ...or juice might have got in the tube and its wimping there ...I would have thought the failsafes would have kicked in tho .
You ve got a years warranty on that though mate , I d be sending it back ....the only time my LT ever caned the batteries was when I was using 5V+ on dual coil cartos ...then I could shell 4 batteries in a night ...they acted exactly as you describe .
