As other have said ...up that nic !! I struggled too ,still do , but not like the first time properly off the fags . I tend to vape 36mg accross the board ...though I have been vaping a bit of 20mg for the first time in a year .. playing about with new stuff . It has been suggested that some smokers are addicted to more than just nicotine , theres the oxygen deprivation and the beta carboline alkaloids as well ...which would explain why some of us really struggle . Dont beat yourself up about it , to me the act is irrelevent , its the desire behind the act that needs a bit of attention

It d be handy to know your budget Talisman , on the one hand its a smart move to buy good quality kit , most are very easy to sell if they dont suit and if they do they can last for years . On the other hand , its a leap of faith to buy something you may never really take to so cheap may make more sense to you .
My experience has been that the cheap stuff doesnt last long enough in real use , whereas my better quality gear is all still working perfectly .
Another big consideration is bottom/side button activation . Some vapers never take to bottom buttons ...and you see a lot of kit changing hands for that reason .

You ve still got plenty of charges left on your Ego batteries though Talisman , so theres no rush Getting used to your gear is an important part of the learning curve . Gawd knows what I would have done as a new vaper with a GG or a megalodon ..or a hybrid mod ...probably break it quicktime lol . If you re after larger capacity than your 1100s , you re gonna be looking at 18500 or 18650 sized battery mods . A VV is a handy thing to have about ...but really not essential . I tend to use normal 3.7 tubes most the time these days ..my weapons of choice are the Megalodon , the Silver Bullet and the SD Mk 2 , all long established mods with good pedigree

As you say he may go 'fruity' in weeks but its best to give em what they want . My tobacco staple is Dunehill Intense 36mg Bestmix2 from Vapourworld (only there as far as I know ) ...has been for about a year . 24 minimum ...but 36 to be sure .

I ve got a lot of stuff ...but very little was new . I no longer own a single Ego ...but wouldnt mind a pair , they re a good vape with the right match . I m quite selective with my acquisitions and yeah , my good quality stuff vapes better than an Ego using my preferred atomizers . Its also more durable ...and serviceable ...important things to me . As time goes on your needs might change ...if you wanna eke a bit of extra life out of them CE4s (they are a fiver !) a VV Ego battery or mod might actually save you a bit of money . Likewize a mellow vape on a lavatube in the morning might suit you as you cut the nic . Its horses for courses , I ve bought more semidisposable ecig batteries than I like to remember ..and cheap 'mods' . Its nice having stuff that goes the distance .

That Joye mod with the 2 heads Karma linked is prolly the best of the big cheapies . Many battery mods arent truly mechanical ...they all got a bit of wiring but its much the same thing to use lol . If you re budgeting you can pick these things up dirt cheap direct from China or secondhand on the AAEC or UKvapers classifieds . A tenner will get you a usable tube . A wanted ad might bring results for a startup kit.

I live in a rural community so I get to see what happens . Its got to the stage where I ve 'turned' whole families , I m turning people I ve never even properly met . I went through an evangelical stage meself , but thats long gone now . The best approach seems to be to just vape , its the smokers with strong reactions that seem to end up vapers , both positive and negative oddly , they re the ones I put a bit of effort into. The users I ve ''turned' all vape their own way , use gear and retailers I ve never even heard of , mostly Ego based of course . These days I just say 'google Ego ecig ' if they re computer literate or 'get one at the chemist'if they re not Its coming , even in my backwater theres 5 types of ciglike available retail , 4 disposables and a simple usb V-lites , you can get vaping real easy for a tenner

Well If you re that attached to it my mate can mod it into an epipe for you ? Seriously though theres plenty of dual users about ...and I d say the pipe is the most pleasurable tobacco vice . Its easy enough to simulate though these days . Some sorta manual Ego is your next best step , like you I dropped a lot of money on ciglikes before going large , never looked back at the ciglikes after .

My poor mate , in her mid 50s, has it real bad . She went to her doctor ...he told her she had COPD , there was no cure and she had 2 years to live , gave her 2 inhalers and that was pretty much it . No clinics , outreach , nothing .
By the time I caught up with her after diagnosis she was on deaths door , barely able to leave the house . She d have infections so bad ..and they d give her low dose antibiotics . I had to sit down and explain the whole thing to her ...even simple stuff like the difference between the inhalers and how to take em ...why you should take the whole course of antibiotics etc. She d always been healthy , never knew any of this stuff . She changed her doctors ,we got her on a short course of nebulizers and oral steroids , upped her inhalers and medications to proper higher dose stuff ...like I take . 4 years on , shes still alive and in better health . When I first caught up with her she wernt even taking the inhalers , coz they made her cough lol .
Edit , sorry vapourized , dont mean to derail your thread .

Giles mate , I m not really talking about 'damage' per se . PG and PEG seem pretty benign substances . It just seems that every inhaled droplet or particle isnt exactly an ideal situation for optimum respiratory health . Even the staff of life , flour , if inhaled in sufficient quantaties can lead to occupational asthma for bakers . As you say PG and PEG(I think )are well researched as inhaled substances , theres even evidence they could even offer a degree of protection from infections . It just seems wize to me to keep my vaping down to a few ml/day , I take a combination COPD inhaler and lead a full and active rural life.Fulltime vaping benefits were immediate and enduring . Out in west wales I probably inhale more rain/day

COPD is what it is , I ve got it , had it since my late 20s . It sounds like yours is a pretty mild case , if you re capable of brisk walking or carrying shopping ...and you dont take any inhaler to manage it ...you re pretty much worrying about nothing . It can be a total disability in its final stages , but really all long term smokers get it to some degree . Theres no doubt giving up smoking is the single most important thing you can do to manage it . Really sorting out dust in your home and protecting yourself from excesses of urban traffic pollution will help . Even as a smoker ,just moving to the countryside improved my respiratory health significantly . Theres little doubt that inhaling eliquid will have some effect on the COPD ....however my experience (of several years) is that the effect is minimal . I certainly wouldnt be vaping 10ml/day or anything tho lol . JC from Flavourart is promoting his 4.5 liquid . Minimizing the carrier you inhale seems to be wize , hes a COPD sufferer himself I believe . I only vape 36mg these days for that reason ...On 18-24 I was chainvaping

Yeah the RDA is a good vape , pretty versatile too . Its never gonna win any prizes for its looks though I love its performance ...bought one last year and another this year , I did find the learning curve verrrrry steep though , excellent service from Clockworks too .
