510s are the worst for burnt taste, its definately the cart coming into contact with the bridge.I keep my carts perfectly topped up,but it still happens. It never ever happens with 901s,which are designed to perfection.I am sure many 901 users who have used 510s will totally agree that they find the 901 to be superior. Its nowt to do with the attys, its the 510 cart.If you use 510 attys, try them with a 901 cart, you will then see exactly what i mean

I'm not altogther convinced that buying more accessories is the way forward.
I have found my Riva to be the most consistant e-cig & I reallythink that it's better for people to get used to one e-cig & it's components before jumping into purchasing more e-cigs & different accessories.
I know people have struggled with filling regular carts & issues with atties, however, getting over these issues with perserverence is the key to all vaping success.

Glad you like the Riva Hissie,i think its ok to.Just doesnt have the power for a true 3.7v vape for me.My box mods have confined my Riva and Tornado to backup only, but hey,we are all different I feel that the way forward is to try new products.I am glad i got these clearomisers, far superior to the tank, and any 510 atomisers.I have been having pure enjoyment with these, still on my first one and have now vaped 35ml of juice with it.Still as good as day one.Once you learn how to use and clean them, they are fab.Now if i had never tried them,i would have missed a brilliant product. Its always a good idea to try new hardware,in my opinion of course.

I agree Ian, to trying new products, maybe not as many as you try though haha. But seriously, trying a new gadget whether it be a different atty/battery whatever, helps avoid any boredom setting in - for me anyways. I'll probs get around to trying the clearomisers next payday, where you getting yours from?

Not knocking trying new e-cigs & accessories, I just think it's better to at least get to grips with one before moving on to other.
You have experience of vaping, but I'm talking about new people who are just starting out.
I know I push the Riva, but it would be the same for any first e-cig kit.

Totally agree Hissie. Its best for a new user to get used to one e-cig setup first, thats sound advice.I would say the Riva is the best for any new user. Bucko,i got some from cloud 9 first, the 3-3.2ohm ones. They are really nice and get better as you use them.I am still on my first one, with regular cleaning there is no drop off in performance either. Its been nearly 2weeks now and its going good guns.I ordered the 2.6-2.8ohm ones from moju republic.Super fast service, highly recommended. These bad boys are even better, very similar to a good LR901.They come with a strange shitty little drip tip effort,so i ditched that and added a 510 drip tip. They are much better than the tank, you get all the flavour and a nice throat hit.I think they are very well balanced, like the LR901s.My new all day vape, its a luxury carto, well worth the wonga.

Good stuff Ian, I'll stick them on me wishlist.
Yeah, sorry for derailing the thread a bit lol.
Regards burnt taste, it's always lack of juice on the atty for sure.
After using the Tornado Tank for a few days, I'm convinced it's the best bit of kit for a new user, it really is faff free. no juice in the gob, no burnt taste or leakage, a lot less to go wrong.

Hi all, Now back and would like to thank you all for your comments and wonderful advice. I tried a drip tip from pinhead with good results and no burnt taste, only issue being having to continually fill it Took your advice Ian and bought some clearmisers but still don't have them so can't give any feed back as yet... Also tried 901 whistle tip from me old pal pinhead and again as you suggested Ian no burnt taste still using it with no problems (what is this witchcraft) looks similar to 501 whistle tip but with slightly different shape inner, yet performs completely different. Have also tried converter and 901 atty again from pinhead (patten forming here) lol...Really like it thanks Chrissie think I'm going to be a 901 convert, good vape, good hit but at least double the taste

Don't know if it was a 901 or Lr901 as it was pinheads and he pinched it back within seconds of letting me try it on my Riva
