Hello everyone, friendly bunch here aren't you. I thought I'd begin a new thread so here goes, I bought an e-cig ages ago after that thread on Q&A, it was hopeless, I'd get a tiny whisp of vapour and then nothing. > I'm guessing the batteries weren't up to the job, I still have the thing and I'd like to try again, would I need to buy another kit or could I simply replace the batteries? The charger is a DSE 901, would this be the battery type? Thanks for the advice BTW.

Hello again TP Yes that would be a DSE901 & it should have worked way better than that Did you buy any e-liquid to refill the cartridges out of interest? If it was ages ago you bought it, the shelf life of the batteries may now be past their best so it would be best starting again. However, you could still use the atomiser/s you got by going for a Riva 901 version. www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=83Discount code ECR69 gives you 15% off that price. You will also need to buy some e-liquid as the cartridges that come with it are dry.

Helloooo TP Two options here, either scrap the lot and start again with a Riva 510 from Liberty Filghts, as ecigs have moved on since you bought your DSE901's . . . . with Low Resistance atomisers and larger batteries you do get more oomph with your vaping www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=78Or! And please don't think I'm trying to push anything of mine here . . . but I am selling a brand new Titan ( DSE901 ) kit, with 2 new batteries as well ( Classifieds ) - plus I'd pop another atomiser and some juice in for you to get started . . . I won't pretend it's the best option there is available now. But, if you'd feel more comfortable to begin with a cigarette look alike it would be ideal. The DSE901 got me through my first few months vaping, until the bug took hold - I now have way too much gear, hence the sale. * Bout to go to bed now as I've an early start in the morning *

TP, Perpy's offer (as always) is brill I started off with a Super-mini (Rn4081) but after a few months bought a DSE901 - I still think it's a great starter e-cig. Please come back & let us help you get the best out of it

I ordered some e-juice from oksmokey, Golden Virginia ultra high 38ml (DF), it arrived this morning and I eagerly opened the packet and juiced up a cart.
The first lungfull was a little harsh but it soon mellowed after a couple of tokes, all I can sat is WOW! what a difference to the stuff I've been vaping all week, the 18ml juice just wasn't hitting the spot for me.
The Golden Virginia flavour tastes nothing like real baccy TBH but the flavour is very pleasant indeed, there's a slight dry leafy taste with a hint of potato, the odour from the vapour has a nice rich tobacco perfume, a little nutty and woody like pipe tobacco but not overly heavy.
The real surprise was the hit, this is what I've been missing with the lower nic juice, there's something missing from lower nic juice for me, I'm a baccy smoker so probably used to a stronger product.
I've been using my robo-fag all day today, while I've been out and about, I can honestly say I've not thought about real baccy, upon returning home I didn't immediately reach for the rizla, I could definitely live with this.
My confidence in the product is growing, I have a few packs of baccy to finish and for the first time I feel that I can do without it, relying instead on my e-cig.
I've stuck to the wadding that came with the original carts (mouse skin or whatever it is), I have some foam stuff very kindly supplied by Perpy, I tried to load some into a cart but made a complete arse of it, is there a technique to it? mine was either too tight or wouldn't hold enough juice. ???

Hi there TP! wow, you're doing well! many thanks for your review, have yet to try oksmokey for e-juice but they sound quite good.
I too found juice around the 18mg mark a bit too low and I also smoked roll up baccy. At first I bought the highest strength from TWicked thinking that as an unfiltered rollie smoker, I would need it. I did find however that anything over 30mg was making me a bit nicotined-out so am now quite settled with aound 24mg. x
