What juice?

Hi,
As a 20 a day smoker for the past 40 + years, I received a Titan E Nic starter set as a present from my Son (a non smoker). I have been vaping for the last couple of days and am really enjoying it as a way of cutting down on the smoking.
However I now need to order some juice to refill the carts and am completely lost!!! Do I want PG or VG and what is the blue foam for please?.
Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Hello & welcome Val

I would say you need to buy a medium to high strength juice & either go for mainly PG or a 50/50 mix to begin with. As I should think that the juice that was in the carts that came with your Titan would have been mainly PG.

The blue foam is used to restuff your cartridges. It helps to wick the juice better than the white stuffing that is already in the cartridges.

As Chris says really, I'd add that intially it's best not to buy huge bottles of juice as you'll find your taste buds will change over time, so several smaller sized bottles would be better at first.

Hi there Val and a big welcome to you! I defo agree with Chrissie & Perpetua. Get several smaller bottles of ones that interest you to start with.. I think that there's a thread somewhere on the boards about juice recommendations (although no two minds always agree on what the nicest flavour is!) beepxx

It's Thursday night! That means anything you order tonight won't be despatched until Friday at the earliest, likewise the earliest you can receive is Saturday if you're lucky - but you could have a dry weekend ahead

If the worst comes to the worst, buy some Vegetable Glycerine from a supermarket baking section or from a chemist - maybe add a drop or two of vodka to thin it down but not necessary. Food flavourings WITHOUT OIL IN can be added.

As I am only cutting down at the moment the full carts that I have left should last me a couple of days.
Thank you for the link Scylla, but how on earth do you choose what flavours to buy.
I will definitely get several small bottles, when I can decide which ones, blue foam and a syringe.
Before I read your replies I ordered a small bottle of tobacco juice from totally wicked, has anybody tried this one?
Finally should I get a spare atomiser?

You're not being in the slightest bit "thick", Val - just being very sensible asking questions that we (I ) have forgotten to cover.

While I think of it - a pair of pointy tweezers will be very useful!

With flavours, I'm very sorry but there's no way round just trying some yourself - we have found that we don't taste the same (if you know what I mean) and one vaper's meat is another's poison.

At the start it's probably best to stick with tobacco-sounding flavours, but if you want to branch out and get an interesting sounding flavour like cherry or caramel, you may get a nice surprise. Also, some people like having a minty one to add to juices they don't like. Mixing often saves the day

The perennial favourites from Paradise - L&B, Cigar, Benson Fences - are not all in stock, but James will have them in soon. I panicked because I thought you were going to be high and dry for the weekend and beyond

Most definitely get a spare atomiser - the more the better. Unfortunately they can suddenly fail - if this happens, put it aside, not in the bin, cos sometimes they miraculously revive (and sometimes not).

I've had the ordinary tobacco juice (ages ago) from TW & it's more than OK

I still mainly stick to tobacco flavours so was very surprised about how much I liked the sample of Apple that James (Paradise Vapes) sent me with my last order. It really is very refreshing & to me tastes like Granny Smith apples
