Thanks for that Peppy, very interesting to note that Scott doesn't like the supplied carts and yet I find them most satisfactory, horses for courses I guess. Once I've used up all the carts I'll have a go at refilling them with the juice you sent me, Ill give the atomiser a drip or two and compare results. The e-cig is going to be different TBH, I never expected anything else, I made the mistake of expecting too much first time round I think, also I believe my batteries were faulty, I would have taken issue had I known what should have been correct. More tomorrow, NN everyone.

One very slight gripe I have is the weight of the unit, this is only a problem when driving for me as I usually have a rollie in the corner of my gob. Whereas you are accustomed to dangling a rollie off your lips, you will soon get used to gripping an e-cig between your teeth, sporting a death rictus expression Seriously though, as long as you have the whistle-tip mouthpiece cart, whether flattish or chunky, and it's a nice tight fit in the atty (which you can fix with a hot pin or soldering iron if it's loose), it will be secure. Only thing is, if you hit the windscreen it might get rammed thru the back of your head Am so happy that you're pleased so far, TP scylla

I always quite liked the juice flavour in the pre-filled carts as well TP . . . I reckon liking/disliking a particular flavour of juice has to be the most debatable vaping topic . . . one vapers meat can be another vapers poison.

I've been vaping for most of the day, am swithcing to baccy for the rest of the evening ( I've some to use up and am far to mean to waste it) so things I've learned: a well dipped wick and a drop of juice down the atty gives much better vapour. carts don't last long, I get about 3 - 4 cigs worth so need to take spares out with me, the first smoke of the day is more satisfying with a fresh cart and a drip in the atty, the advice to make sure you don't run out of supplies is essential for anyone trying to give up tobacco. I have a troublesome atomiser, it doesn't produce enough vapour, I've had a look at it, I've noticed that there's a little fillament poking out, the one giving problems is poking out a bit less than the others so I'd imagine it's not making good contact with the cart. I'll try cutting a slightly longer wick so that it sticks out of the cart a little, hopefully that should cure it. The batteries on this model (DSE901) seem to last quite well, I'd read on the wicked site that I could expect about 5 hours, I'm still on the same battery after 13 hours. Fortunately, I enjoy fiddling about with things which I think is a must when getting to grips with your e-cig.

Yep TP, fiddling with e-cigs is good I think it's one of the reasons that folks that used to roll their own get on with them so much. On the other hand, I never got the hang of rolling but so love faffing with my e-cigs, it becomes second nature. Re the troublesome atomiser - some just take a while longer to kick in than others. But it might be an idea to drip a tad more juice directly into that attie. I know that might sound a bit like a lot of hard work but just think about it on a par to firing up your lighter for a real cig Lol, hope that makes some sense

Brilliant to hear how well you're doing TP . . . and you're absolutely right, it's so worth having spare spares of everything . . . my very first foray into vaping a couple of years back, stumbled when the 2 atomisers I had both died. . . took me another ( wasted ) year to get back into it again. You could also use that drip tip in the package instead of a cartridge, just drip a couple of drops of ejuice down it, on to the atomiser, then vape.

It is TP . . . knew we'd get round to it sooner rather than later.

am swithcing to baccy for the rest of the evening (I've some to use up and am far to mean to waste it) I gave away 10x50g once I'd fully switched to vaping @ 6 days. (Let's be honest, scylla! you gave it back to the person who bought it for you! ) I never ever had one of them Don't get yer hopes up, TP, it must be a freak Glad you're taking to vaping so very well, TP! scylla

I have 3 batteries Scylla, two are a bit short on charge time but 1 of them is a little Trojan.

I just tried my e-cig and the battery needs a charge, that's 16 hours and 20 minutes. I think this battery is a keeper.

I've still got an opened pack with 16 ciggies in it, coming up to it's first anniversary . . . don't know why I'm keeping them really, other than for nostalgic purposes . . . frightening to think that there was a time when I'd have gone through that number virtually, by lunch time. That battery is incredible TP!
